Kuki sighed as she sat on her bed. She wasn't her usual happy-go-lucky self yet she didn't know why.
Kuki slid off the bed and began to dig under it. Something was missing, yet she didn't know what. Finally, she pulled out a picture. It was of her and some teenage boy.
That's when she remembered.
It was her older brother. Kuki remembered how she used to play Rainbow Monkeys with him, play games with him, and go almost everywhere with him. She felt a tear roll down her cheek. 'Zach…'
Just then, someone knocked on her door. She opened it to find Wally.
Kuki couldn't hold in her tears much longer, she fell into Wally's arms crying.
"What's wrong?" Wally asked, worried about his crush. Kuki just mumbled something he couldn't understand. He hugged her "Shhh, it's alright. I'm here for you, Kuki." He led her over to her bed to sit down, then wiped away a tear going down her cheek. "What's wrong?"
"Oh, Wally, I miss Zach!"
"Zach? Who's he?" Wally looked puzzled.
"He's my brother. He died in a car accident with his friends." Kuki explained.
Silence.
"Kuki?"
"What?"
"Can I be your new brother?"
Kuki smiled. Then, she hugged Wally so tight his face turned blue.
"Thank you, Wally, for all that you've done for me!" Kuki giggled, now her happy self again. Then, letting go of Wally, she began to dance around the room a said in a sing-song voice. "I have a new brother! I have a new brother!"
Wally couldn't help but chuckle. It was good to have the old Kuki back.
There was another knock on the door. Wally opened it to find that Abby was the one who knocked.
"Numbuh five wants to know if you guys are alright." She explained.
Wally smiled. "I don't think we've ever been better."
A/N: I know. Horrible. Just review anyways! ;)
