Chapter One: Summary of the Past
Setting: 1988, Godric's Hollow, a fairly large sized mansion
The Potter family was very happy, James and Alexandra Potter just gave birth to a baby girl, whom they named Alexandria Lynn Potter after her mother. Young Alexandria was the most beautiful baby in the world and was loved by all. Even Severus Snape couldn't be cross when she was present. Alexia had many godparents; there were of course Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, and none other than her great great great, (you get the picture) uncle and grandfather, Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor. Gryffindor and Slytherin were brothers and unlike Gryffindor, Slytherin despised children, until the day young Alexia changed his mind. As long as Slytherin and Gryffindor had blood relatives on Earth they could visit them as often as they liked. One day Salazar was talking to Tom Riddle and young Alexia was saying hi to him. Since she was small and busy, he paid no attention. So Alexia crawled over to him and tried to pull herself up holding onto his pants. Well little Alexia ended up de- pantsing her godfather, and after that he took more notice of her and became his favorite relative. Since Alexia was not just Slytherin's favorite but Gryffindor's as well, not to mention she was in line to be queen some day of the wizarding world, both Gryffindor and Slytherin agreed that by making her their heir she would have to much power, and not be able to live a normal wizarding life. To decide who was going to make her their heir, Gryffindor came up with an idea to get a stuffed animal of a lion and one of a serpent and what ever one she chooses that will be the one who claims her as their heir. Slytherin disagreed because their aren't any cute serpent stuffed animals, but he was outnumbered. He stayed locked in his room all day, making her a special stuffed animal. When it came time to choose, they told Alexia that she could only have one, so Gryffindor put his closest to her and held his brother's as well. Alexia made a grab for the lion, but so filled with triumph Gryffindor turned around, and Alexia immediately grabbed the serpent as well. When they tried to pry them away from her so they could do it over, she refused. Gryffindor made Alexia his heir, but still upset by this Slytherin made Alexia his true heir, and phrophecised that she would marry Slytherin's other heir, so the power would stay in the family. Slytherin made Draco Malfoy, Alexia's best friend, his heir.
One sad night shortly after, when everyone had left, James and Alexia were watching Quidditch on the plasma screen, when Alexandria walked in. Alexia started to pull away from James and walk over to her mom but once she said it was time for bed Alexia ran back over to her father. It was quite humorous. James of coursed convinced his love that it was fine. Once Alexia fell asleep, her mother carried her up to her room, when all of a sudden their was an explosion, and a mysterious man walked in and killed her parents. He tried to kill Alexia but couldn't. He was scared and fled the scene, but poor Alexia was parentless.
