Valentines 1999
This year I have no one.
Xander and I had a ruined everything.
Oz won't even look at me.
Cordelia just sneers and looks at me like trash.
And Xander, Xander won't go near me just in case.
So all I have is Buffy. Buffy who has her hands full with Faith.
Even Giles is too busy. Dealing with Wesley.
He feels pushed out, since being fired. He doesn't let it show but I can tell. Every time Buffy goes on patrol, every time we have to go out and fight.
He's afraid
Afraid that something may happen to us.
Afraid for Buffy's life.
Afraid that Wesley will screw up badly.
Afraid of how powerful I am getting.
Afraid that he is going to end up alone.
He may not realise it, but he is. Since Ms Calander's death he's had no one.
So I suppose we have a lot on common.
So this valentine I've made him a charm, to protect him. Overall to protect his heart.
