Ld: 'Ello! I'm back. ::grin:: You'll never be able to get rid of me, no matter how hard you try!! Fwahaha! Hehe, uh... this is my first, and probably only installment in the 'poem' category. Warning:Kikyou introspective. (I know there are some people who dislike Kikyou out there, so I just wanted to say I warned you. ::grin:: You dont like her, review/flame me, please. I'd be delighted to recieve it.)

Itsumademo
On a day so long ago,
I shot the arrow that sealed your fate.
Though, I myself, did not escape.
-
This hadn't been how I planned it,
Yet you struck me first.
-
To a tree you stay pinned,
For fifty long years,
But you awake once more.
-
You were free,
But where was I?
-
I believe I should thank you,
Somehow, I think,
You helped my rebirth.
-
Should I really give thanks though?
You nearly killed me again.
-
You may have brought me back,
Though I am not truthfully alive.
I died that day fifty years ago.
-
Yet, you did too,
Did you not?
-
Now I seek you,
Not to pay thanks for all you've done,
But to die with you.
-
I know you too wish to be with me,
But why do you refuse to take my hand?
-
When will this tragedy finally come to an end?
When can we go to where we truly belong?
When is the day we can die together?
-
Side by side,
As we wanted so long ago.
-
Bid your friends farewell,
You will not see them where we're going,
And we can leave together.
-
It can be as we wanted,
Together forever.
-
My one true love,
Take my hand,
We'll never be apart.
-
I'll make sure of it,
You'll be by my side.
-
Itsumademo.
::grin:: Short and sweet and to the point. Originally this was a poem I wrote for the poetry unit last year, and I thought "oh, one day I'll post it on fanfiction". Heh. Well, other than that, not much to say.
Oh yeah! Itsumademo should translate to 'forever' or 'eternally' if I did my research right. ::grin:: Review if I'm wrong... Review if I'm right, Review just because you feel like it. You know what - just review. ::bigger grin:: Flame me too. I like flames.
