Suffer In Silence
Disclaimer: I Don't own anything. Tis a shame really… Oh Well!
Authors note: Kinda short, always loved Jimmy Neutron but never actually wrote the fanfics!
It didn't matter anymore. Not to her. The grades, the title. It was stolen from her precious life, and suddenly, it held no meaning. Since he came, taking what had previously been hers, she felt the need to prove herself worthy. But every time, she would be one point off. One percent lower. One mark wrong. And soon enough, all that had no significance. Beating him had become her new obsession, the taunts and teases to weaken him. But he was a solid atom, which never seemed to explode.
So she lost herself in a world of her own. And no one could see Cindy Vortex slowly fading away…
"Now class, I want a historical report on the mechanics of how the first automobile was created, it will be done in the traditional essay of SEEAC and is due at the end of class on Tuesday, November 1st." Jimmy sat back with a smug look on his face. That's easy.
"A report?! Oh but that's gonna be so hard…what am I gonna do?" Jimmy glanced over at a shaking Carl, whose face had gained the colour of fresh snow.
"Not a report Carl, an essay."
"Oh Carl, it won't be that bad…everyone knows that Ultralord invented the car. Its common sense!" Jimmy let out an exasperated sigh.
"Now Sheen you know—"
"Miss Fowls…can I do my paper on Llamas?"
"No Carl."
"Miss Fowls what does the S stand for?"
"Statement Sheen."
"Okay, and the E?"
"Example." She sighed.
"But Miss Fowls-" Carl whined.
"And the other E?"
"Evidence Sheen-"
"Okay and the A?"
"Analysis."
"And the C?"
"Jimmy there is no way I can write an essay!"
"Conclusion Sheen, now class-'
"What does the A stand for again?" Miss Fowl's eyes narrowed as she penetrated Sheens. "Never mind..." He murmured softly, sinking into his chair.
"Carl it won't be so bad, it's just a essay." Jimmy folded his hands behind his head.
"Now I'm expecting top-quality reports from everyone!" The shrill call signalling the impending freedom broke the control Miss Fowls held over her class. With kids shuffling and making a dash for the door, Jimmy stood up gathering his books, waiting for Sheen and Carl.
" Don't worry guys, this essay will be a piece of cake. Anyone with half a brain could write it." He glanced over at Cindy, whose eyes had taken the colour of a darkened storm. "Except Cindy of course, who I'm surprised has even an eighth of one." A burst of laughter reverberated throughout the room, as Jimmy and his pals left, listening out for a scathing retort. But as their footsteps echoed down the hallways in a rush of unorthodox clops, it never came.
