Of hues of violet, white ,and royal blue
I dream
There is a princess in pink and a loving smile
Golden laughter to greet me
The sun and the hills of emerald
We are amongst hope and friends of old
Lingering on memories of the past
All is peaceful and calm
In this violet dream where I shed my stony skin
I smile
With you I will stay
when you look at me with you hopeful eyes of blue
I cannot move or breathe because the feeling of this eternal happiness
I have all that I want with a human form and with you by my side
we look into the swirling purple sky
I laugh
Then there is evil and truth in the air
Then you begin to cry because the truth is the purest pain
The shades grow darker
You run for I feel the stones growing and I have become the monster
Violet becomes the color of hate
I shall never win the heart of a princess nor smile or laugh in this hell
I am cursed and in freakish misery I will remain
I know this now for I have woke from my dream
To the reality of my life
To travel and walk alone with my violet dreams
Someday in the distance I will return and smile down at you
