The present at the gift shop
"So Quat, what do you want to do", asked Duo as they walked the busy streets of the city. Quatre shrugged, "I don't know really I guess whatever you want" Duo looked at him then added "Well we can bother Heero that'll be fun right?" Quatre shook his head, "remember the last time he messed with him? He literally tried to kill us"
"Oh yeah I remember now." Suddenly Duo's face lit up and he smiled, having an idea. "HEY let's go bother Trowa! He's not as violent as Heero and-" Quatre shot a glare at Duo "NO! We are NOT gonna bother Trowa!"
"Geez calm down Quat I was only playin" Duo grinned and started looking at the different shops as they walked by them. Soon they came across a gift shop. Quatre stopped "Hey arn't we supposed to get Wufei something for his birthday?" Duo stopped and looked also at the shop. " OH YEAH! I totally forgot about that let's go in!" Duo grabbed Quatre by the arm and dragged into the store.
As the two stepped into the store something caught Quatres' eye. It was a long sword with the Chinese word for "warrior" engraved in the blade and the hilt made up of silver, bronze, and gold dragons. Quatres' eyes sparkled with glee and he nudged Duo. "Wow Wufei would love this" Quatre said pointing to the sword. Duo tried to pick it up but the weight of the sword was too heavy. "Yeah he would like something this heavy" Duo sighed trying to pick up the sword again. "Um…. can I help you two?" someone said behind them. Duo and Quatre jumped, Duo dropping the hilt on his foot. Duo cursed under his breath and turned around meeting the gaze of Relena Peacecraft. Relena cleared her voice and asked again, "Can I help you two?" "RELENA!!! Is that you? Wow it is you how have you been? You know Heero's been askin about you" Duo said, pinching Relena's cheeks happily. Relena pushed Duo away and smiled " It's nice to see you two again. Where's Heero? Is he in town?" Quatre nodded and looked at his watch. "Uh Relena sorry to cut this short but we have to go. Wufei is having a party and we don't want to be late" "yeah so I guess we'll be seein you" Duo grabbed Relena and gave her a hug. "Um…yeah ok bye" Relena said, stunned by the sudden hug by Duo.
When they walked out of the store Quatre sighed as he looked up at the sky. "And we didn't even get him a present. I wonder if he'll be mad at us" Duo snickered and pulled out Relena's wallet from his pocket. " But we could give him some money knowing how Relena is always loaded with cash." Quatre looked at the wallet in horror "DUO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE DON'T YOU REMEMBER THE LAST TIME YOU STOLE RELENA'S WALLET!?" Suddenly a loud bang came from the gift shop and Relena emerged from a cloud of smoke, carrying a shot gun "GIVE ME BACK MY WALLET DUO I'M NOT PLAYING WITH YOU ANYMORE!!!!" screamed Relena angrily, aiming the gun at Duo's head. Duo yelled, "YOU'LL GET YOUR WALLET BACK AFTER I TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF IT" Relena screamed and fired, the bullets barely missing Duo head. Duo yelled and starting running, dragging Quatre behind him "GET BACK HERE!!!!!!" Relena shouted running after them.
