Author's Notice: I did this with Remus/Lily and thought a Remus/Narcissa would be interesting as well, you never see them together but they'd be interesting together...I consider Narcissa to be similar to Lily, actually. The beginning paragraph is a bit tricky but really makes sense if you give it the time.
These drabbles are NOT going to be arranged in chronological order.
Timeline
Remus always said there were two similarities between Narcissa and Lily. When Lily was with Remus, she acted like the Narcissa that everybody sees. And when Narcissa was with Remus, she acted like the Lily that everybody sees. Narcissa was a closet romantic, Lily was a closet cynic. Lily was much more bitter than Narcissa, Remus always said but forgot to justify his comment. "She just is" he said "Lily's bitterness is apparent in everything she does and everything she says." When talking about Narcissa he said, "Narcissa acts cynical and angst-filled but she's far from it, Narcissa wants the perfect husband the perfect child and the perfect life...all Lily wanted was to be loved."
Remus and Narcissa died long ago, much before you were born. These writings are pieces of their past that if they were alive they would probably want to bury. Storytelling is an art, but living is the best sort of art...there are no mistakes. Remus and Narcissa know this well.
