This just came to me. Been thinking about the movie lately and the character Ra. This is kind of inspiried by my upcoming fanfic "Quid Pro Quo." But only vaguely. It's just mostly my observations on the so-called "god." I was just going to leave this for my livejournal but then I decided to share it. Let me know what you think.
Ode to Ra
he's beautiful and dangerous
dark and ostentatious
he's a king in his own right
a false god in fake light
he's curious and cruel
he'll use you like a tool
he'll get his point across
even if it's at your loss
deathly afraid of competition
his own fear's his ammunition
find a crack in his sick logic
and if you're lucky you might dodge it
he's attraction and desire
brimstone and raging fire
he's a man of power
watch your step or be devoured
you know a million reasons
things to keep you from this treason
but eyes of darkness draw you in
and you'll never be the same again...
