Author's Note: I was attempting to finishing writing chapter 20 for my story, "When Nightmares Are A Good Thing" when I had an idea for a song line. I wrote the fifth line (line one of the chorus). I ellaborated and created a song. I even pulled out my guitar later on after composing the lyric and pulled a couple of chords and strums together to half creat the music. SO! I decided to post the lyrics. If you have any imput on this, drop me a review. I'll let you use your imagination as to who's POV this is in. Although, if you want to know the truth, leave your guess and email in a review and I'll be glad to tell you. Also, if you do reivew, do you think I should carry on with these lyrics by making them into a one shot song fiction?
Masking It Away
Lyrics (andmusic that can onlybe heard by the writer)composed by Rhiane Raine
If you could look into his eyes
You'd find them full of guilt
And when he stares into my soul
I can only feel his pain
It's alarming, the way he views the world, as if he's all alone
Life seems so doomed, the walls are closing in
The only way out is for him to push it all away
And forget about his pain
I try to reach past his smile, but can't get past the mask
That's all he'll ever allow me to see despite of every blast
I can't believe that he still bottles it up
Even though I've offered him my shoulder
It's alarming, the way he views the world, as if he's all alone
Life seems so doomed, the walls are closing in
The only way out is for him to push it all away
And forget about his pain
Come out from behind, I want to help you out
Come out from behind, there's evil lurking about
Take my hand; I'll never leave you out
Take my hand, and you'll never be without
It's alarming, the way he views the world, as if he's all alone
Life seems so doomed, the walls are closing in
The only way out is for him to push it all away
And forget about his pain
