ON WITH THE STORY NOW :D
~~~~~~~~~
It's been a week since Phoebe said good-bye to Cole at the airport where his father's jet waited for his departure. She was practically in tears because she was torn between two choices. Phoebe hated to see him leave her side; it just doesn't feel right without him. A piece of her feels like it's always missing.
"Phoebe?" Piper called from downstairs. "Phoebe?!" Piper called louder walking upstairs to see Phoebe cleaning in the bathroom. She couldn't believe her eyes, because Phoebe never cleans. Something was obviously wrong with this picture.
Piper stood at the doorway shocked as Phoebe looked up from the tub. "What is it? You look like you've seen a ghost, did you?" Phoebe asked. Piper laughed and replied, "No, but I'm witnessing a moment in history. You, cleaning." More laughter came from her. Phoebe frowned at the fact her sister was poking fun at her when she was feeling down.
"Okay, I'm sorry. You've been sulking around here since Cole left, and I just think you need to go see him," Piper stated. "I can't. What if something happens here and I'm not there?" Phoebe asked. "Not for a long time, you know. Just a couple of days," Piper suggested. "Well, he'll probably too busy to have any time with me. I don't see the point," Phoebe stated. "It'll make you feel better," Piper said. "It just bothers me that he doesn't even call. Makes me wonder if he loves me at all," Phoebe declared.
Piper gave a scoff. "Oh, Phoebe...You know as well as I do what the answer to that question is. Go see him," Piper insisted. "What about Prue?" Phoebe asked. "I'll tell her that you left and that you'll never come back," Piper joked. "Hey! That's not nice. Although, she would be totally freaked out," Phoebe said smiling. "Yeah, she would. Can I ask you a question?" Piper asked. "Yeah..." Phoebe answered uncertainly.
"Have you and Cole...?" Piper paused. Phoebe smiled and rolled her eyes. "What do you think, Piper? I'm not as sweet and innocent as you are," Phoebe said walking into her room. "What's that supposed to mean?" Piper asked following her. "You need to find a guy and get laid," Phoebe stated. "Phoebe, it's more than just getting laid. It's a connection between two people who love each other," Piper stated. "You're so dramatic!" Phoebe exclaimed pulling out a suitcase. "Ugh...fine," Piper said.
She watched as Phoebe packed some clothes into the suitcase. "Aren't you going to call him first?" Piper asked. "Nah, I want it to be a surprised. And besides I could always stay with dad," Phoebe answered. "Okay, don't forget to tell your boss that you're going away," Piper reminded. "Oh! That's right, thanks for reminding me," Phoebe stated.
Later that night:
Prue came home from work and looked totally exhausted. The smell of the food coming from the kitchen filled her nostrils and she followed the aroma. It led her to the kitchen where Piper was cooking dinner.
"Boy, am I glad to see you!" Prue exclaimed hugging Piper. "Not a good day at work?" Piper asked. "Nope!" Prue replied. "Aw...Well, I cooked your favorite dish. So, you relax and dinner will be ready in 10 minutes," Piper stated. "You're such a good little sister," Prue stated. "Uh-huh," Piper said.
There was a slight pause before Prue just thought of something. "Where's the little rodent, Phoebe?" Prue asked. Piper laughed and said, "She's not a rodent, Prue. She's your sister and she's not coming home for at least another three days," Piper announced. "What? Why?" Prue asked letting go of Piper. "Because she's going to see Cole in NY for a little while," Piper explained. "What if something happens?" Prue asked concerned.
Piper had to think of something assuring to say to Prue before she freaks out, and demand Phoebe back instantly. "We'll handle it. Don't worry," Piper said. "Who does this Cole think he is, anyways? I mean, he's taking our baby sister away," Prue stated a little disappointed. "She's almost 23," Piper said. "And she's TOO YOUNG to get married!" Prue protested. "She's in love. I've never seen her more happy," Piper said.
"Yeah, you're right. She's definitely more mature, I'll give her that. But getting married...She's in for a rough ride," Prue said walking off to the living room. Piper hoped Prue wasn't right, but Prue's usually right about everything.
The flight was extremely long, and Phoebe was worn out by the time she stepped off the plane. Her father had someone to pick her up and take her to his house. She didn't exactly want to pop up at Cole's mansion when it was 5 in the morning. So, she decided to stay with her dad. Phoebe couldn't believe it was dawn in NY already, when she would still be sleeping in her bed at home.
When the car pulled up to a beautiful mansion, Phoebe was in complete dazed. She never knew he owned such a beautiful mansion like this one. She knew he was rich, but this rich?!
The crystal glassed doors opened and Victor exclaimed, "There's my little girl!" Phoebe smiled and ran into his arms like a little girl. She hadn't seen him in so long, she missed him. They only had time to talk when they were discussing wedding plans, but other than that. They haven't spoken much to each other.
"Come in, sweetie. Make yourself comfortable," Victor stated as they stepped inside. Phoebe looked around and saw the furniture. Everything was so perfect; she was starting to get tired with the luxury in her life.
"How are you, sweetheart?" Victor asked sitting her down in the grand living room. "Very tired," Phoebe answered. "Oh, that's right. Well, I suppose you like to get some sleep. Lira will take you to your bedroom," Victor said. "Thank you, daddy. And for letting me stay," Phoebe said. "Anytime, sweetie," Victor said smiling. Phoebe yawned and said, "I think I'm going to go to bed now. Goodnight, dad," Phoebe said following Lira upstairs.
She almost passed out instantly as she laid in bed, but she was so excited to see Cole in the morning. How surprised he would be to see her.
Next Morning: 10:15 a.m.
Phoebe awoke from her deep slumber, and nearly forgot where she was. Phoebe sat up in her bed, and stretched. The mansion was so all too quiet, but all mansions are usually like that. She tiptoed downstairs and found Lira cleaning up the living room.
"Good morning, Miss. Halliwell. Your father is at work, but he said he would call you to see if you wanted to go out to lunch," Lira stated. "Oh, thank you. Did he say what car I was supposed to take, because I have to go out?" Phoebe asked. "You get to choose. They're all in the garage," Lira stated. Phoebe nodded and asked, "Is there anything for breakfast?" "you can find the chef in the kitchen," Lira answered. "Thank you," Phoebe said finding her way to the kitchen.
'Wow, a personal chef. His own personal chef. Well, I see where I get my luxury problem from,' Phoebe thought silently. She eventually found the kitchen, but where's the chef?
BOOM! She bumped into someone tall and built. "Sorry," She apologized looking up at the gorgeous French man. "Excuse me," He said in a French accent. Phoebe looked at him mesmerized. "You look really familiar. Are you Victor's daughter?" He asked. "Yeah...I'm Phoebe..." She replied dreamily. "And you are?" Phoebe asked. "I'm the chef," He answered.
He steered her to the kitchen. "A man that cooks," Phoebe said. Well, Cole cooks, too. She just haven't had a decent meal with him lately, that's all. "What would you like?" He asked. "Eggs, and bacon," Phoebe answered. "How about some blueberry pancakes and milk sound?" He asked. Phoebe nodded staring into his eyes. He smiled at her and turned to cook.
'You're about to get married, and you love Cole!' Phoebe yelled at herself. After she was done with her breakfast, she got dressed to go see Cole at his office.
Phoebe opened the garage doors at the back to see what car she wanted to take. Of course, she had to take the sporty one because it looked stylish, and it matched her outfit for the day.
She couldn't wait to see Cole! She was so excited! Hopefully, he's excited too.
