That morning, New York City was really gloomy. Dark clouds filled the sky, and rain came pouring as if it would never stop. Raindrops pounded against the windows of the mansion, which woke Phoebe up. She looked outside and thought it was still late at night. Quickly, she glanced at the clock to make sure. Phoebe saw that it was eight in the morning, but Phoebe had no intentions of rolling out of bed whatsoever.

She felt so content in Cole's embrace, and his body heat was warming her up from the cold room. Phoebe smiled cheerfully remembering last night festivities when they got home. Cole was amazing as ever, if not better. He's definitely been working out his body, because he sure does look good under all those business attire.

Phoebe ran her fingers over his buffed up body, tracing lightly on his skin. He is a perfect man in every way possible. Cole caught her hand as it was trailing down his stomach.

"Naughty girl," Cole said kissing her hand. "Did you have a good night sleep?" Phoebe asked laying her head on his chest. "Yes, sweetie, I did. Did you?" Cole asked running his hand through her hair. "I did, but I'm sore all over, Cole. What you do to me last night?" Phoebe asked. Cole grinned and started kissing all over her neck.

Phoebe gently pushed him back to his side of the bed. Cole had a confused expression on his face. "I'm sorry, but I have to go," Phoebe stated. "You just got here," Cole said. "I know, but I have to go back. It's killing me as much as it's killing you. Believe me, it's difficult to stay away from you," Phoebe said. "Then, stay with me," Cole said. "Baby, we talked about that already. I can't," Phoebe said firmly. "You do realize you don't have to go to work, right? I'll take care of you if you would just let me," Cole said. Phoebe smiled at the gesture.

"Everyone's wanted to take care of me my whole life. I really got to do something for myself just this once," Phoebe said. "I still don't see why you insist working for that bastard of a boss," Cole stated referring to Jason. "What's so bad about him, anyways?" Phoebe asked curiously. "He's not a good guy, baby. I don't want him to be anywhere near you," Cole said caressing her face. "Don't worry so much. It gives you gray hair," Phoebe said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"What are you going to say to your father about that nasty bruise on your precious face?" Cole asked. "I'll explain it to him the best way I can," Phoebe replied. "You mean you'll lie to him," Cole corrected. "It's just a little fib. I mean, what am I supposed to tell him? I went to dinner with Cole and this guy I used to give lap dances to backhand me?" Phoebe asked. Cole looked surprised.

Suddenly, it clicked in his head. "He doesn't know, does he? He never knew about the dancing, did he?" Cole asked. Phoebe sighed and walked to the bathroom. "He doesn't need to know that his baby girl gives lap dances to man who are two times older than she is," Phoebe stated. "How does he think we met?" Cole asked. "Fate," Phoebe said sarcastically closing the bathroom door.

They exchanged good-byes as soon as the limo pulled up in the luxurious driveway. "Bye, baby. I love you," Cole said. "I love you, too. Call me, will you?" Phoebe asked smiling. "Yes, ma'am. Phoebe, promise me you'll be careful?" Cole asked. "Okay," Phoebe replied giving him one last kiss and off she went.

The limo pulled up to her dad's mansion. Phoebe entered the quiet mansion as a maid greeted her. "Phoebe? Is that you?" Victor called walking out of the living room. "Yes, daddy. I'm home," Phoebe replied. "Where have you been? What happened to your face?" Victor asked lifting her chin up to examine it a little closer.

"Dad...please. Nothing happened," Phoebe answered a bit annoyed. "Did Cole hit you?" Victor asked. "No! Dad, he's not vicious. It was just a little incident at the restaurant," Phoebe replied. "Would you care to elaborate?" Victor asked. "This drunk was totally loosing his mind. And...I was trying to calm him down when he clocked me right in the jaw," Phoebe finished hoping her father would buy the story.

He looked doubtful for a while. "And Cole was where the whole time?" Victor asked. "Everything was happening really quickly, dad. I don't know," Phoebe answered. "If this is how he's going to take care of you. You could count on us having a little chat and it won't be pretty," Victor said. "It wasn't his fault, daddy. I shouldn't have jumped in, but you know how I am," Phoebe said. Phoebe turned to go upstairs.

"Wait, where are you going?" Victor asked. "To pack. I have to leave for SF," Phoebe answered. "You've been here for 3 days," Victor pointed out. "Business calls," Phoebe said continuing up the stairs.

Next morning, Phoebe used the jet that Cole had opened for her 24/7 if she ever needed to fly out or anything. She took a 5 o'clock flight out of NYC to SF. Phoebe didn't want anyone to know that she was leaving until after she had already left.

It was difficult trying to balance of this out, and Phoebe felt overwhelmed by it all. She felt like everything was upon her shoulders. Work, family, wedding plans, demons, and the list goes on. How much can a girl take?

Phoebe nearly had to drag herself through the manor doors, because she was so exhausted. When she got through the door, Piper was the first to greet her.

"Hey, stranger. How did it go?" Piper asked. "Good," Phoebe answered closing the door. "How's my favorite baby sister?" Prue asked. "Fine," Phoebe replied feeling a bit like a little kid.

"Oh, my goodness! What is that on your face?" Prue asked looking at Phoebe's jaw. "Obviously, Prue. It's a bruise," Phoebe said. "What happened? Did Cole hit you?" Prue asked concerned. "Ow! Can I have my jaw back?" Phoebe asked. Prue let go. "What happened?" Piper asked again. "Nothing. It was an accident," Phoebe answered. "Accident or not. I want to hear it," Prue stated firmly.

"Fine," Phoebe said giving in. She took a deep breath before she let it all out. "I used to dance in NYC for money, and this guy who was a regular there saw me at the restaurant with Cole. He tried to sexually assault me because..." "Stop! You danced for money? And you never thought to tell us that?!" Prue exclaimed. "What? You think I left to get a decent job? I just wanted to get away from you guys, and I didn't care what I was doing. Gosh, what did you think I was doing? Flipping burgers? Please!" Phoebe shouted.

"You were 19 at the time!" Prue shouted back. "You didn't try to stop me! It was a cry for help, Prue! But you never saw it, because you were too busy with your damn job! So, don't you dare judge me now," Phoebe yelled. "That damn job kept this family running! Certainly, I would never think you would stoop that low, Phoebe. Watch it come back and bite you," Prue said. "So, now I'm not only a slut but I'm also low? I should've never moved back here," Phoebe said.

"Okay!!!" Piper yelled trying to get their attention. The two angry sisters looked at each other without blinking. "I'm sure Phoebe's exhausted beyond words. Phoebe, why don't you go take a shower?" Piper suggested. "Whatever," Phoebe answered stomping upstairs.

Prue turned to Piper. "She's unbelievable! I swear, that girl pisses me off more than anything in this universe," Prue said. "We can't change the past, and she's came a long way from it. Just drop it, Prue," Piper said. "Why are you always so easy on her?" Prue asked. "Because she's old enough to make her own decisions and learn from her mistakes. If you never let her fall, she'd never learn to get up," Piper stated wisely.

"When you become so smart?" Prue asked. "I was always the smart one," Piper replied proudly. "Conceited..." Prue said. "I'm just glad Phoebe's okay, and it's great to have her home. It's our job to protect her," Piper said. "And protect her we shall," Prue stated. "Careful...It has it's limits," Piper warned.
