Chapter 3: Brand New Divatox

The reflection from the explosion appears in Carlo's visor. He closed his eyes trying to erase the thought of his friends being burnt to a crisp. He grows angry as Elgar comments about having marshmallows. "You will pay for this Elgar mark my words." Carlos growls at Elgar.

Cassie begins to speak in Chinese. Blue Senturion frowns at her language, his decipher software translating the expletives. "Such language from such a pretty girl. Lucky for you I don't have a mother or else I would really have to hurt you." voice said from behind. Killer Needle walked to the group. "You blew up six month of product and research" the monster yelled shoving Elgar in the chest.

"B-B-B ut the rangers. The opportunity to destroy them." Elgar stuttered.

"At the cost of the drug. No wonder your aunt and you can not conquer Earth. You have tunnel vision, only concern with the same things. I offered you something bigger than killing rangers." Killer Needle said. He walked over to two rangers, the Green ranger struggled to get free. "Why didn't you leave them in there?" Killer Needle asked.

Elgar humped his shoulders. The monster sighed resting his head on his right hand. "Calling you a moron is an insult morons." he said.

"Wonder how smart you are, aligning yourself with this group. Do you understand what effects this drug has?" Cassie asked.

"Better question is do I care about the side effects." he said.

"Once freed. It will be my duty to arrest you for your crimes. Manufacturing and distribution of an illegal galactic narcotic and countless homicides " Blue Senturion said.

"Never going to happen." Killer Needle said slapping the android across the face. Three blast shot into the piranatrons holding the Blue Senturion and the rangers. The monster jumped back afraid of another stray blast. "Elgar, your plan failed" Killer Needle said.

Red, Blue, and Yellow Turbo rangers joined their friends. Cassie threw her arms around the Red and Yellow rangers. "We thought... Oh it's so good to see you." Carlos touches fist with the blue turbo ranger. The Red ranger shakes the Senturion's hand.

"I think you can take it from here." Elgar said vanishing from the area.

"Well I'll have the pleasure of killing you myself." Killer Needle said charging at the red ranger. A blade extends from his right hand. TJ holster his auto blaster and replaces it with his turbo sword. The two blades meet in the middle of the battle.

"Shift into Turbo!" Carlos said as Cassie and him morph into their ranger suits. They join the Yellow and Blue ranger fighting piranatrons. Blue ranger rolls on the ground bringing up his auto blaster firing on his enemies taking them out quickly. He holsters his blaster as he leg sweeps another piranatron on to its back.

The Green ranger holds his turbo sword like spear. He hurls the turbo sword at line of five piranatrons. The blade shoots across the chests of each piranatron. The sword lands behind the line of piranatrons. Like dominions they fall on top of each other. He pulls his sword out of the ground looking at the pile of them.

The Yellow ranger does a couple of black flips gaining some ground to fire on the two piranatrons rushing her way. When those two fall to their side another one leaps between them heading towards the yellow ranger. She leaps off the ground front kicking the henchman in the chest. The piranatron goes flying into the pile of fallen piranatron that the green ranger had defeated earlier.

"Lift off" Carlos said he kneels down the Pink ranger jumps off the Green ranger's back. She flips in the air spreading her arms out to her side. She clotheslines two of the piranatrons at the same time.

Killer Needle slashes the Red ranger across the chest, sending sparks shooting out of him. TJ holds his chest then retaliates by kicking the monster in his side. Killer Needle seems unaffected by the Red Ranger's attack. Killer Needle wings spread out from behind him. "I think it's getting windy in here wouldn't you agree." Killer Needle said flapping his wings. A strong gust of air pushed the Red ranger away from him. The Blue Senturion assembled behind the Red Ranger holding him up. "Thanks" TJ said getting his footing established.

Both heroes fired their blasters, but the attacks are smacked back by Killer Needle. Blue Senturion and the Red ranger dive out-of-the-way of the return blast as it explodes behind them. "Red Ranger our opponent is tougher than any we've faced before. Perhaps using our strongest attacks would ensure victory." the Senturion suggested. The ranger nodded his head.

The other four Turbo rangers rallied around their leader. The Turbine is summoned, descending from the sky. The rangers fired their team cannon at Killer Needle once again the attack is swatted back at the team. TJ fires another blast into the blast pushing it into Killer Needle, an explosion erupted around the monster. "Did we get him?" Justin asked.

"I'm not some run of the mill monster. Your weapons won't be able to land a mark on me. If you must go through the inventory of your weapons then go right ahead. They won't do you any good." Killer needle laughed, as the smoked cleared.

The Blue Senturion charged at the monster swinging his synergizer in downward motions. Killer Needle side steps each attack parrying with his blade. Blue Senturion spun around converting his sword to a blaster. He fires several shots each one blocked by the monster. The Red ranger moves into position with the Turbo RAM while Carlos takes center point behind the Turbine laser. "Now" TJ yelled. Blue Senturion rolled out-of-the-way as both mega weapons fired their blast colliding into the Killer Needle. For the first time he was unable to deflect their attacks. His body steaming from the attack, the Blue Senturion finishes the fight with charged slash strike. The monster falls on his back howling in pain.

Divatox's sub

"Should I fire the torpedoes?" Elgar asks his Aunt.

"No let the rangers think they've won. Never cared for Needle. Destroyed everything linking me to Killer Needle's research" She said. A piranatron bowed before his master, Divatox watched the henchmen scurry into the computer lab.

"Needle did have a certain flare for inflicting pain on others. It's time for me to up my game. I've said in the past I'm going to great these ranger. I've become a joke to them, no more messing around."

Power Chamber

Five streaks enter the power chamber just as Alpha pulls out a needle from Amber's right arm. "How's she doing?" TJ ask running over to the table. Alpha motions for the Red ranger to take a look for himself, Amber's begins to wake up from her sleep. Her eyes open first the yellow glow no longer there. "P-Power Ranger" she said startled a bit. The Red ranger picks her up off the table teleporting himself and the girl out of the chamber.

"Good job Alpha but how?" Carlos asked.

"Ashley managed to get a vile before the warehouse exploded." Alpha answered.

"The Blue Senturion is taking Killer Needle into custody. He will be tried before the intergalactic council." Dimitria said.

"Hopefully he will never see the light of day. I can't shake the image of those bodies burning." Cassie said tears forming in her eyes.

Ashley wrapped her arm around her best friend. "Alpha what about the creatures in the containment field?" she asked.

"I will administered a different strain of the antidote to the creatures. Their transformation was further a long and required an aggressive mixture. The computer will scan the city to find any other person with this drug running through their veins; an antidote will be provided eliminating the problem." Alpha said, he exited the room. Justin volunteered to help Alpha with the creatures.

The remaining rangers stepped towards the center console. Dimitira sense the rangers were troubled. "Rangers is everything ok?" Dimitria asked.

The three rangers look among themselves Ashely spoke first, "We were wondering where do we go from here?"

"What do you mean?" their mentor asked.

"Divatox has shown us what's she capable of. How we deal with her won't be the same." Cassie said.
