Chapter 5: Clash of the Titans
Normally the streets were fill with all sorts of vehicles. But thanks to the new ship the streets were empty. All except for a red sports car and blue jeep holding the already morphed Turbo rangers behind the wheel. Lighting Cruiser takes off into the air. "Cassie what's the reading on this ship?" TJ said looking over to the pink ranger by his side. Cassie shakes her head. "I'm not getting anything." She reports. Another missile whizzes by the rangers hits a building behind the rangers.
"We need Turbo Megazord Power now!" TJ yells. Cassie and TJ leap from the Lighting Cruiser into their Turbo Zords. Ashley, Carlos and Justin follow behind them in their zords. The five zord go through their megazord sequence forming the Turbo Megazord. Two more missiles whiz by the megazord exploding into two beside them. "That was close." Blue ranger yells.
"I don't think the ship is targeting us." Cassie said. TJ pulls back on the steering wheel this signals the Megazord to summon its saber preparing for an attack. The ship fires a missile at the Megazord this time. "Well now it has us in their sights." Justin said. The missile is stop by the swipe of the blade. "We can use the force of the spin out to send us flying through the air into the heart of the ship." Justin said.
"Sounds like a plan to me." TJ said. TJ pulls back on the lever that causes the megazord to activate its spin out finishing move. The megazord spins upward heading towards the ship. "G-G-Good T-TH-Thing W-We H-H-have S-e-a-t-b-e-l-t-s" Carlos stutters. Suddenly, a giant circular door seems to open up from the ship and a smaller shadowy vessel emerges. The five rangers gasp at the sight of it as it flies toward them and fires two golden lasers at the Turbo Megazord.
The Turbo Megazord falls backwards and hits the open street, ripping a crater through the concrete on impact. A quake sends windows of surrounding buildings shattering. "Everyone ok?" TJ ask. They moan yes. "We got to get on our feet." TJ said pulling on his steering wheel. The Megazord scrambles back on to its feet.
"What was that?" Green ranger asks. The Red Zeo Battlezord lands in front of them. "Red Zeo Battlezord?" a confused Green Ranger asks.
"Can't be it safely lock in Zeo hangar." Blue ranger answers.
The ship opens three more circular doors and releases four additonal vessels. Yellow ranger looks at her screen, "Four more heading right for us."
The Rangers gasp in astonishment as they watch the opposing megazords land in a row. From left to right stood the Ninja Megazord, Shogun Megazord, Zeo Megazord, Super Zeo Megazord, and Red Battlezord. A tremendous explosion of black smoke bursts up behind the megazords as they snap into their respective battle-stances.
"How is possible for him to have control over inactive megazords?" Ashley asks.
"The Ninja and Shogun zords were lost in time. The Zeo hangar has been inactivate for almost a year. I don't know how the ship is able to control the zords." Alpha said.
"Well we can't worry about how they ship is controlling them. We have to make sure that they don't harm the city. See if you can scan anything on the megazords that is not there apart of the original design. Like the battery pack that was attach to the Turbo Megazord months ago." TJ said. With that, the Turbo Megazord rushes toward the enemies, swinging the Saber through the air. But just then, the Shogun Megazord steps forward and punch it in the chest, causing sparks to launch forth. Even still, it cannot keep from being slashed by the Turbo Megazord Saber.
Power Chamber
Alpha's robotic fingers quickly tap various buttons pulling up a visual feed on a screen. The video shows the Turbo Zords return to their hangar. Shrinkasect flies out of the hidden compartment locate within Wind Chaser Turbo Zord. The insect monster finds the Zeo hangar and returns to his normal size. The monster shrinks the three megazords to action figure size. He grabs the three megazords and places them in his pouch. He teleports out of the chamber. The video feed ends.
Alpha slams his fist on the console, "Sorry Dimitria"
"Alpha we share responsibilities. Shrinkasect's power allows him to remain undetected from my power. Scan the Megazords for him and any foreign objects" Dimitira said. Alpha complies and resumes the scan.
Downtown Angel Grove
The Shogun Megazord releases pink petals from it chest. The petals explode around the megazord. Before the rangers can retaliate the megazord extends it's blazing flame sword. The flaming saber comes down the body of the Turbo megazord, creating a huge gash through the metal. The megazord stumbles backwards. "Power down to 60%" Pink ranger reports.
The Red Zeo Battlezord fires it laser gatlings into the back of the megazord. TJ yanks this steering wheel to the right, turning the megazord to face its new opponent. The Red Zeo Battlezord powers up and charges toward them, activating it's boxing-arms, which pump one fist after another into the chest of the Turbo Megazord, causing extensive damage. Metal gashes are ripped open with every blow the red adversary delivered, driving the megazord backwards, coming dangerously close to a building behind it.
The Battlezord steps back leaving an opening for the Ninja Megazord to attack. The megazord performs a spin kick and knocks the Turbo megazord into the building. "We're going down." Pink ranger yells.
"Disassemble now!" Red ranger yells. Each ranger switches their keys to the left and pulls it out of the ignition. The megazord glows in their rangers' respective colors and splits a part; minimizing the damage to the building.
The Battlezord fires another series of blast at the zords. The zords speeds away, the ground becomes scorch from the blast.
"Status report." Red ranger orders.
"The combo of the flaming sword and boxer punches left Mountain Blaster severely damage." Blue ranger reports.
"Minor damage to Wind Chaser." Pink ranger says.
"Dune Star almost out of power." Yellow ranger said.
"Desert Thunder can't make left turns." Green ranger said.
Red ranger shakes his head fearing losing the zords. The Shogun and Ninja megazords tries to stomp on the zords. The vehicles manages to avoid the massive feet of the megazords. The Zeo Megazord attaches it's Zeo ranger 3 battle helmet, using the gravity powers to levitate the five vehicles. The Battlezord aims his gatling at the vehicles. The zord unleashes a barrage of lasers and strikes the zords. The lasers penetrates the windshield of the zords. Yellow ranger ducks as shattered glass rains over her back.
Power Chamber
"Alpha teleport the rangers to their Rescue Zords and return the Turbo zords to the hangar." Dimitira orders.
"On it. This is going to be a huge drain on the chamber." Alpha said.
"Zordon prepared me for such an event." Dimitira replies.
Alpha presses a series of buttons on the console. He looks up at the viewing screen and watches the Rescue Megazord land in the city. The Turbo zords spins for a few seconds before they vanish. "Turbo zords returned. Another second and they would be obliterated. Initial scans show two weeks worth of repairs." Alpha said. "Shrinkasect managed to attach devices on to the megazords. Any signal I send to them is blocked." he adds.
Downtown Angel Grove
"I have no choice but to take 'em out. Starting with the big one. Artillery Power! " TJ yells. The Artillatron lends it's massive cannons to the Rescue Megazord.
"TJ are you sure?" Green Ranger ask. The Red ranger nods his head pressing the button to fire the mega weapons. The blast rips through the Shogun megazord's chest. With this, the Shogun Megazord's red eyes seem to fade away and it falls back and explodes. All that remains of it is in fragments of flaming junk that scatters across the battlefield.
Wasting little time the Rescue megzord faces the Red Battlezord. Before the cannons can fire the Super Zeo megazord slams into the the Rescue Megazord; the megazord drops the cannons to the ground. "Shoulder blasters." Blue ranger said, he presses a button. The shoulder mounted blasters fired into the Super Zeo Megazord chest; it is pushed back from the force.
"Rangers you seem like you need assistance" a voice rings in their cockpit.
The Robo Racer lands next to the Rescue megazord. The rangers gives the Blue Senturion a thumbs up. "Glad you're back." Yellow ranger said.
"Yes, Yellow Ranger and not a moment too soon. Allow me." Blue Senturion insist. The Robo Racer extends it's wrist blade, quickly swinging the blade, which easily cuts right through the Red Battlezord's left arm, cutting it off. The Battle zord lifts the right arm, which the Robo Racer slices through as well. Sparks flow like a fountain from the armless shoulders of the red menace as both arms hits the concrete below. With this, the zord falls back.
The Ninja Megazord leaps up into the air. Suddenly the Falconzord swoops down from the ship and connects itself to the Ninja, transforming into the NinjaFalcon Megazord. The megazord executes its finishing move. Suddenly, its fists begin to glow. One red, one blue. The energy increases as it flies through the air, growing closer to its target.
The Ninja Falcon's red fist thrusts forward as it flashes back and forth between the images of an ape. The Robo Racer just barely ducks as the red fist slams into the building behind, creating a tremendous explosion as the fist is damaged, shot through the other end of the building. The Ninja Falcon Megazord yanks the red fist out and prepares to thrust the blue fist. This time, the Robo Racer is hit. The image of the blue fist and the image of a wolf flash back and forth until the mighty glowing fist rushes at its target. Blue Senturion yells, as an explosion occurs, leaving the right arm of the Racer just barely hanging off as it rushes away from the building and the Ninja Falcon Megazord.
Hacker's Ship
Hacker had viewed the entire Megazord fight. He took a seat and watched intensely the Turbo Megazord take massive damage. He was disappointed when the rangers switched Megazords without losing the original and even more disappointed with the destruction of the Shogun and Red Zeo Battlezord.
"Shrinkasect" he called.
The green insect creature appeared before him and saluted, "Yes."
"Why don't you bug the Blue Senturion." He said.
The creature rubbed his hands together and laughed, "Just like old times." Shrinkasect shrunk and exited the ship.
Robo Racer
Shrinkasect entered into the cockpit and reverted to his normal size. The monster arrival surprised the intergalactic officer. "Shrinkasect" Blue Senturion said.
"Miss me." the creature said punching the officer in the face. Blue Senturion lets go of his controls, the Robo Racer fails it body Blue Senturion unbuckles his seat belt and throws a back fist. Shrinkasect blocks and returns with a jab to the fast. The officer falls back on his controls and moves the Racer forward in the line sight of the Super Zeo Megazord.
From their cockpit the rangers try to communicate with their ally, but the only hear the sounds of a struggle.
The Super Zeo Megazord steps up, summoning its twin swords and combining them in a dance of gold light. With that, the Super Zeo energizes the mighty sword, causing it to increase in length. But instead of simply using it to slash the enemy, it sends the blade of golden energy shrieking through a building. This slash causes the entire upper half of the building to fall on its side, and land directly onto the Robo Racer. The impact creates an incredible explosion of dust and rubble, completely consuming the battlefield with blackness.
"Blue Senturion!" the Red Ranger yells.
The Robo Racer lays under a thousand tons of rubble, only it's head and part of its left arm can be seen. The Blue Senturion stumbles out of the head of the Racer. Shrinkasect follows behind him unscathed from the fall. He plummets the Blue Senturion violently and repeatedly punches the officer.
"Carlos take over, I'm going to help." Red Ranger said, he leaps from the cockpit to the ground. Carlos takes TJ's seat.
"Shrinkasect your opponent is me." Red Ranger yells, he summons his turbo sword. Shrinkasect lets go of the beaten Senturion. A sword materializes in his hand. The two warriors circle around the area, both slash forward narrowly missing the other. Red ranger back spins and meets the blade of Shrinkasect. They both jump up landing on top of a roof; their blades clash into one another. TJ digs his feet into the roof and pushes forward, hoping to overpower his enemy. Shrinkasect shrinks down causing the ranger to stumble forward. Shrinkasect returns to human size and strikes the ranger's expose back. The ranger howls from the slash.
Shrinkasect attempts the same attack again, but the ranger side steps and delivers an elbow to the face. Using the opening the ranger charges his sword slashing the creature across the chest, sparks erupt from the wound. Piranahtrons splash out of the ground surrounding the ranger. "This is your cavalry." the ranger said. Within seconds the Red ranger slashes through the henchmen, he turns to face Shrinkasect who disappears.
The ranger pulls out his Turbo Navigator in blaster mode. The scanner locks on to the tiny insect creature, "Stay gone this time" the ranger fires the blaster. The beam from the gun collides with Shrinkasect's body, instead a explosion a tiny poof appears before the ranger. The Red ranger jumps to the ground and rushes to his ally's side. "Blue Senturion are you ok?" he ask lifting the Robot's head.
"Yes, thank you Red Ranger. I'm sorry I wasn't of help to you." Blue Senturion coughs.
The ranger shakes his head, "You save us, thank you."
The Zeo Megazord looms over the two; it lifts the sword ready to strike. The Rescue megazord fires its shoulder blasters, drawing the Zeo Megazord's attention. "Don't forget about us." Green ranger said. Rocketing from Hacker's ship a barrage of missiles explodes onto the Rescue Megazord, the megazord falls on the ground.
The Falcon zord detaches from the Ninja megazord, its soars in the air then descends towards the Red Ranger and Blue Sentuiron. The wings fold in revealing it's blasters. The ranger helps the Senturion to his feet, "Run". In his weakened state the Senturion tried to run, red blasts explode around them. One of the blasts knocks the Red ranger to ground. The Zeo Megazord activates its sword, preparing to strike him.
The Yellow ranger is the first out of the down Rescue Megazord, she lets out a scream as she watches the blade inch close to TJ.
