Only a Dream

Me and him, laying together by the fire. He would run his hands through my hair, and we would sip green tea. He would tell me jokes and I wouldn't be afraid to laugh…
Then he would turn into a dog, and wag his tail and lick my cheek. I would giggle and scratch him behind the ears. Then he would be a kitten. And have a, no 'the face' that no person could stay mad at.
He would be human again, and we would sit, side by side discussing everything. From simple things like our favorite colors, to more deep, and intimate things, like our childhoods.
I would tell him everything. Why I could never tell him of my feelings before. Why I hated Terra so much…
"It's because of the way you felt about her… and she felt about you…"
I would confide in him my greatest fear; Loosing control. And why I never could. He would tell me, that everything is going to be all right, and that he loves me for me… even if I am rather creepy.
I would tell him about the book, and about Malchior.
Why I had done what I did.
"It's because he understood…" I would explain. Then I would change the subject.
"What happens when we're… not Teen Titans anymore Beastboy? What then?"
He would tell me that all will be okay, and I would hug him tight, cherishing him. I would whisper in his pointy green ear the same three words he had told me. And we would just sit there, side by side, arm in arm…
But it's only a dream of mine, and he will never love me…
