She stood there as the full moon shown down on her delicate features. Her dark raven hair flowed down her back reaching down towards her knees. Her skin as pale as an angel glowing in the midst of a dark, cool night.
"What are you doing here Palvina? You know better than to be out in the open like this," hissed a dark, luminous voice as a figure appeared from the shadows of the trees. "They're out looking for you right now. I suggest you make a better choice before they find you."
"Yeah, yeah. I know the news and the rumors. It's not like I've just heard them," she turned around and opened her eyes, which showed a dark amethyst that glowed as bright as the moon. She smirked and fangs as sharp as a viper appeared. "Those annoying witches are looking for me. And besides, I'm ready to take them on at any time."
The guy that Palvina was talking to chuckled and shook his head, "That confident now are we? You're not that powerful yet, so if I were you I'd hide and train some more."
As they stood there in silence, they heard a scream coming from behind Palvina's direction. She immediately turned around and yelled over her shoulder, "Quick Ashkav, Sada is in trouble!"
Palvina quickly bolted across the street and into the dark forest as Ashkav followed not too far behind. 'Sada is always getting herself into trouble,' thought Palvina as she came across a wolf with fur as dark as midnight and eyes as golden and bright as the sun. It growled at her as Palvina took a defensive stance. "Leave her alone you demon!" she shouted as her eyes started to glow.
"I wouldn't be talking if I were you," said a voice in her head. It had been coming from the wolf. "Palvina." As the mysterious creature finished its sentence, a whirlwind of leaves swirled around the wolf and a new figure appeared before Palvina.
Sada got up to her feet as best she could and stumbled over to Palvina, "Thank the Great Shanka you're here." Her eyes were tear filled and she was trembling with fear from the creature that had attacked her.
Palvina never took her eyes off of the enemy but whispered to Sada, "Run. Get as far away from this place as you can."
Sada just sat there at her feet then confidently nodded, then got up and ran.
"What're you doing here Danshi? I have no time for you or your stupid games," barked Palvina as she looked at Danshi with a death cold glare.
"What am I doing here? Feh, you should know by now. I'm one of them and I'm here to capture you," he said as he smirked then lunged towards her with a sword in his hand that happened to come out of no where.
Palvina jumped into the air, avoiding his attack. But unfortunately, her leg got cut. "What's wrong? Can't escape my attacks in that weak, defenseless body?" Danshi mocked, as he got ready to attack again. "C'mon you freak! I know you can do better than that! Show your true self!" His eyes were really wide and his pupils nothing but specks.
'He's gone mad!' thought Palvina as she tried to elude another one of his attacks but failed.
Suddenly, a sudden burst of energy came her way and threw her to the side and she flew right into a tree and a loud, crunching noise was heard as one of her shoulders came out of place.
"Fool…" was all Palvina heard as she passed out.
A/N: CLIFFY!!! Ok, I don't know what I should make the title be so I'm going to let the people who read it decide. Don't ask me where the names came from because not even I know that…Well, stay tuned for the next chappy.
