Chapter Ten
Come to Me
After the group went shopping for a few hours, they went back to the hotel room to get ready for the night. Lizzie wanted to go to a dance club since drinking was legal there for their age but Matt couldn't go. It was finally settled that Matt and Miranda would hang around the hotel while Lizzie and Gordo would go to the dance club.
Lizzie and Gordo said their goodbyes to Matt and Miranda before splitting up and heading to the dance club.
When they arrived at the club, JC Chasez' "Some Girls" was playing full blast there and Lizzie immediately pulled Gordo onto the dance floor to dance. Gordo wasn't that good of a dancer, but he was a good sport and agreed to dance with her.
Lizzie and Gordo were bumping and grinding on the dance floor for a few songs until a few songs later, Gordo decided he needed to take a break, so he told Lizzie and they agreed they would take a break and sit down.
Lizzie and Gordo found a place to sit and were sitting close to each other and showing obvious public displays of affection while they were sitting there. The affection was getting really obvious, especially when Lizzie whispered into Gordo's ear to meet her in the bathroom in three minutes. Gordo could hardly believe what he was hearing because this was so unlike Lizzie but he gulped and watched as she slid away from the table, winked, and walked to the bathroom and giving him a wave and a small smile before closing the door behind her.
Gordo nervously waited for three minutes to pass, trying to make everything look natural, he stood up and walked cautiously to the bathroom and knocked, looking around, making sure no one was watching, but before he could turn to Lizzie, he was pulled into the bathroom by the shirt. The door closed and Lizzie pushed him up against the wall and kissed him passionately.
"Do you think this is a good idea?" Gordo said.
"Gordo," Lizzie said, sucking his neck, "It's a great idea."
Before he could object, she shut his mouth with a passionate kiss and they both slid to the floor. They made love right there in the single-stall bathroom.
In the meantime, Miranda and Matt were spending their time in their hotel room more conservatively. They ordered room service and spent most of their time talking to each other while cuddling on the full bed farthest away from the window.
"So," Matt said, with his arm tightly around Miranda, "Can you believe this is happening?"
Miranda shook her head, "I wouldn't have dreamt it in a million years."
"Oh, come on, Miranda! You never knew I had a crush on you?"
"Nope. Not until you told me."
"Well," Matt said, kissing her on the cheek, "I'm just sorry I never told you sooner."
"I know," Miranda said, "Then I wouldn't feel guilty about wanting to rip your clothes off all the time."
Matt laughed nervously, "You feel that way too, huh?"
Miranda sighed, "Yeah. It's so weird, though. You are fifteen! Fifteen! Why do I feel like it is a crime if I want to kiss you?"
"Because," Matt said, gazing into her eyes, cupping her face and pulling her face to hers to give her a kiss, "I actually have no idea. All I know is that it should be a crime not to kiss you."
"Matt," Miranda said, "How many girls have you kissed?"
"Other than you?"
"Yeah."
"One."
Miranda looked at Matt in disbelief, "You mean other than me, you've only kissed Melina?"
Matt nodded, "Yeah. She was my first girlfriend."
Miranda nodded her head, "How far did you ever get with Melina?"
Matt blushed, "Why the sudden curiousity."
"Because," Miranda said, smiling, and putting her hand underneath her shirt to touch his stomach, "I want to know everything about you."
"Ahh!" Matt nodded, "So, does this mean I can ask these questions to you, too?"
"Of course," Miranda said pulling her leg on top of his body and facing him.
Matt sighed, "Okay, fine. But you have to remember that I'm only fifteen so I'm not supposed to be as experienced as some people."
"Matt, just answer the question."
"Fine. Melina and I only kissed. There! Are you happy now? Our first kiss was four months into our relationship and I barely got any tongue. Does that make you happy?"
Miranda smiled and looked into Matt's eyes, "Matt? You are crazy. You know that right?"
Matt looked at her confused, "Why do you say that?"
"Because," Miranda said, "I don't really care how inexperienced you are. All I care is how experienced you want to be."
"Oh," Matt said, feeling his heart pump faster. This happened whenever he thought about this particular topic. He swallowed a huge lump in his throat.
Miranda looked at him curiously, "So how experienced do you want to be?"
"As-as experienced as you want me to be," he said, shaking.
Miranda smiled as she straddled Matt and leaned down to give him the kiss of his life, "Matt," Miranda said in a reassuring fashion, "I'm a virgin and so are you. Whenever we choose to take that step just remember that it will be special for the both of us."
"What are you trying to say?"
Miranda smiled as she played with his shirt, "I'm saying that we can take this as slowly as we want. As long as we do it together, it doesn't matter to me."
"Before we do anything," Matt started, "tell me about you. How many guys have you kissed?"
Miranda shrugged, "Six or seven?"
"And how far have you ever been with a guy?" Matt asked, caressing Miranda's hair as she sat on top of him.
Miranda smiled, "barely second base."
"What?" Matt said, surprised.
Miranda shrugged, "Well, my parents taught me to never kiss on a first date and well, if I'm not sure about a guy, I don't do anything I'm not comfortable with."
"Are you comfortable with me?"
Miranda raised her eyebrow, "I am very close to ripping your shirt off. What do you think?"
Miranda leaned down and pressed her body against his as she kissed him sensually on the mouth. Matt accepted her kisses as always and wrapped his arms around her and stroked her back as they lay there on the bed. The only thing they had left to decide was who would dare to make the first move in that direction.
So, as they lay there on the bed, kissing the breath out of each other, it became pretty apparent that both of them were nervous. When it occurred to both of them that something probably wouldn't happen tonight, Miranda pulled away and looked into Matt's eyes and laughed nervously, "Matt?"
"Hmm?" Matt said, thankful that she pulled away.
"Why do you think this is so hard for us?" Miranda got off of Matt and lay there waiting for an answer.
Matt shrugged, "I don't know. I guess because it is the first time for both of us."
"Yeah," Miranda said, "But we both feel ready. You do feel ready, don't you?"
"Yeah," Matt said, nodding, "Even before we were together, I dreamt that my first time would be with you."
"Maybe this is a sign that we should slow down," Miranda suggested.
"Slow down? We haven't done anything," Matt said. He really did want this to happen.
"I know," Miranda said, "But if we both want this, why are we not doing this?"
Matt thought about this for a minute. He could come up with no good answer to give Miranda and it was driving him crazy.
"Matt?" Miranda said, leaning into his clothed chest, "will you promise me something?"
"Hmm?"
"This is going to sound weird, but will you promise me that we will let this happen at some point?"
Matt nodded his head. This was slightly embarrassing for him because he was a male and people his age were supposed to want this. Yet something was holding him back.
Matt stood up and looked at Miranda as he yawned, "I'm going to get dressed for bed."
"Yeah," Miranda said, starting to get up, "I should probably do the same."
"Do you want me to go to the bathroom or stay here?"
Miranda laughed, feeling stupid, "Matt? Does it really matter? We almost made love tonight. I don't know about you, but I don't care if you see me in my underwear."
This surprised Matt, but didn't disappoint him as he went into his suitcase and got his plain white t-shirt. In the meantime, Miranda got out her silk pajama bottoms that were red and had roses imprinted on them as well as a Care Bear T-shirt.
Matt took off his shirt and started to unbuckle his shorts as Miranda couldn't help but watch. Even though that was the whole purpose of them being in the same room, she felt weird watching her boyfriend take off his clothes, but she couldn't help but look. "Do you, uh, usually wear a shirt to bed or have you been going that for me?" Miranda asked as he pulled his pants off. She tried to divert her eyes, but it was too tempting. She had to look.
"Actually, usually I only wear boxers. I wore a shirt the night before last because I didn't know how Lizzie would feel if I was only wearing boxers."
"Matt," Miranda said, walking toward him. She was still wearing her clothes, "You don't have to wear a shirt for me. Wear what you normally wear."
Matt nodded his head and looked down and then at her, "What about you? What do you usually wear to bed?"
"Pajamas."
"You mean you don't sleep with nothing or even wear sexy lingerie?" Matt said, pulling her into a hug from behind, "You see, a girl with a body like you looks much better with less."
"Heh," Miranda said, smiling, "Sorry, but I get cold at night."
"I'll keep you warm," He said, leaning in and kissing her on her neck.
Miranda turned her head and kissed Matt softly on the lips, "I'm sorry."
With that, Miranda released herself from Matt's embrace and went to her clothing. Matt watched her as she took off her shirt, put on her other shirt, then reached back to undo the bra straps and a few seconds later, the bra was off and then she started to undo her shorts. It was weird for her to know that she had an audience, but she had no objections. She turned away from Matt as she took the shorts off and slid the silk pajama bottoms on. She nervously looked back at Matt who was staring at her.
"Matt?" she said, walking up to him and pulling her body into his. She gazed into his eyes and spoke her next words, "I want you to make one more promise to me."
Matt swallowed hard, "And what would that be?"
"Promise me that no matter what happens between us that you will never change. Can you promise me that?"
Matt nodded his head.
"Good," Miranda said, pulling him in tighter, "because when we finally do make love, it will be more special because we love each other."
"Miranda?" Matt said, breathing hard, "I love you."
"Hmm," Miranda said, enjoying this moment.
Not long after that, Miranda and Matt brushed their teeth and washed their faces before getting into bed. They fell asleep in each others arms that night. They eagerly awaited the days to come.
In the meantime, Lizzie and Gordo finished up in the bathroom, got dressed and decided they would be as casual as possible as they walked out, so Lizzie walked out first and went back to the table. Then, a few minutes later, Gordo was back there too.
"That was amazing, Lizzie," he said, kissing Lizzie on the cheek, "I've never done anything like that before."
Lizzie smiled pleasingly as she tapped her feet casually to the Jennifer Lopez remix playing.
Lizzie asked Gordo to get her a drink and Gordo went off, leaving Lizzie alone at the table.
Almost as soon as Gordo was gone, a dark-haired, green-eyed guy walked up to the table and asked if he could sit there, next to her.
Lizzie smiled, always polite and graciously allowed him to sit. She figured he looked harmless and Gordo would be back in a few minutes anyway.
The guy sat down next to Lizzie and introduced himself, "Hi. I'm Vlad. What is your name?"
"Lizzie," she said, smiling.
"Are you here on vacation?"
Lizzie nodded her head, "Yeah. I just got here today. What about you?"
"I'm here for fun, too. I just got here today, too," he said and he rolled his eyes, "my cousin dragged me here to this club and I've just about had enough."
Lizzie laughed and nodded, "It is loud."
"Loud is an understatement."
"Did you com here by boat?"
Vlad nodded his head, "Yeah. In fact, I think I saw you on my boat."
"Really?" Lizzie said, surprised. She didn't know what else to say.
Vlad nodded, "Yeah, my uncle owns a portion of the cruise line."
Lizzie took his in for a minute. Didn't she also know someone who was related to guy that owned a portion of the cruise line? That sounded familiar for some reason…
