Ethan comes back to the office after dropping Little Ethan off at Pilar's house so that she can watch Little Ethan while Ethan and Theresa are at the trial.

After Ethan enters the office, Theresa gets up from her desk and goes to kiss her husband. Ethan asks, "Are you finished writing the closing statement?" Theresa says, "Yes, honey." Ethan says, "After you tell the judge why Miguel and Charity would make good parents to Maria, I will give the judge proof, and then after you tell the judge why Kay would not be a good role model to Maria, I will give the judge proof to that." Theresa says, "I think that we make a good team, honey." Ethan says, "We sure do!" Then, Ethan asks, "Do you have our witnesses?" Theresa says, "I have Whitney, my mom, your mom, and Dr. Russell." Ethan says, "That's great sweetie!" Then, Ethan says, "Let's call Miguel and Charity to come down to the courthouse so that we can get the trial started."

Miguel and Charity arrive at the courthouse. Theresa and Ethan tell Miguel and Charity who the witnesses are and what they are going to say. Miguel and Charity think that is a wonderful plan. Then, Ethan, Theresa, Miguel, and Charity head to the courtroom for the trial.
