"Hey." She said walking up to him and putting her chin on his shoulder and arms around his waist.

"Hey." He said mono tone.

"Ummm hello...happiest day of your life?" Lorelai said turning him around and gesturing to her gown.

"It is." He said with a smile.

"I sense a but comeing on here." She said.

"No but, I know that this is the happiest day of my life." He said.

"Then whats up, where were you a second ago, you seemed a million miles away."

"I was just thinking." He said.

"About."

"Nothing. It's stupid."

"Tell me, I am your wife now, you have to tell me it is the rule."

"I was just thinking, that I want to give you everything, and...I just don't think that I can give you everything I want to."

"What do you mean? Of course you can." She said looking in his eyes.

"I can't...I dunno...fly you off to Paris for the weekend."

"So..." She said confused.

"And...you're parents...no matter how much they say they do...are never going to be over joyed to have me as a son in law."

"So Dad looks annoyed in all the wedding pictures big deal. Something to tell the grand kids." She said. "Luke, I don't need candle light and roses. You know that. Our life won't be perfect, but, if this...you and me...is good enough for you...it's good enough for me."

He smiled.

"Besides...I kinda like the way you get so mad when I am late, and I like your t-shirts over lacey night gowns, it dosen't have to be fancy...to be fun. We aren't going to have a perfect life...I mean...I know I am as close to perfection as it gets...but we have been together a while, you know and I know what comes with the deal. I don't need all that stuff."

"But you deserve it."

"I deserve you. You are good enough for me. In fact, you may be too good for me." She said with a smile.

"Nothing is too good for you." He said as he kissed her.

"And as long as you think that...we are going to be just fine." She said.
