I've been sailing far and wide
For years across this great divide.
My ship is my home, the crew my family
My head and heart belong to king and country.
I'm master and commander of all the sea
Even my crew sees that in me.
We do our duty as any soldier would
We serve the crown as gentlemen should.
The ocean is in my blood, the ship is my lady fair
Anyone who harms her, would never again dare.
This is the far side of the world, but still it's home
Home is on the sea as me and my crew roam.
When my time is up, and my body gives in to eternal sleep
I want to be buried under the waves of the deep
Like many other souls that have gone before me
There I want to remain, with them in eternity.
I am master and commander of all the sea
I love the life of captain; that will never change in me.
