Now this happened 3 years later...
It was a beautiful summer day and John just arrived at Elaine's house. He rang the doorbell and Elaine opened the door.
"Hi Elaine," said John.
"Wanna go to the movies?" asked Elaine.
"Sure thing!" replied John.
They all went to the movies and had a good night. After that, they went to the mall.
The next day, Elaine went to John's house. She wants to go to the dance club.
"Wanna go to the dance club?" asked John.
"Sure!" replied Elaine.
It was a terrific night for John and Elaine. They were falling in love.
One year later, it was a beautiful day in August. John and Elaine went to the mall since they are getting engaged.
"Do you know where the engagement ring store is?" asked John.
"It's right here," said the man.
"Thanks!" replied John.
John went in the store called Engagement Rings and More. They had a lot of engagement rings.
"I'm looking for an engagement ring, but I can't remember what size. Please tell me the size," said John.
"What? The size?" asked the saleslady.
"I need a size," replied John.
"Try the 50 karat engagement rings. It's over there," said the saleslady.
John was looking for a 50 karat engagement ring and couldn't find one. He kept looking for it until he found the perfect one. It was a 50 karat gold engagement ring.
"Ummm...this is the 50 karat gold engagement ring I have," said John holding up the engagement ring.
"Do want it engraved?" asked the saleslady.
"No thanks," replied John.
The saleslady put the 50 karat gold engagement ring in the box and handed it to John.
When John got out of the store, he continued shopping with Elaine. They went to a music store where John was looking for CDs, but not buying, while Elaine was listening to music. After they got out of the store, John opened the box with the 50 karat gold engagement ring to Elaine.
"Elaine, will you marry me?" asked John.
"YES!!!" replied Elaine.
So John and Elaine got engaged.
