---Humor is perhaps a sense of intellectual perspective: an awareness that some things are really important, others not; and that the two kinds are most oddly jumbled in everyday affairs----

((Mikey's POV))

Hey, Ralph.

How are you? You are looking better. Your cuts, bruises, and bumps are healing up pretty well. You know, you make everyone worried that you haven't woke up yet. It has been quiet around here without you. Well, not to quiet. Donny and Casey are fixing old truck here since April's van die and gone to the big junkyard in the sky. They trade insults as much as they fix the car. Casey comes to visit every day but he doesn't stay long. He seems nervous around you. I can tell by the look on his face that he is concerned about you. I guess Casey has his own skeletons in his closet.

April is going to watch you after my turn is up. Believe me, we tried to talk her out of it. She wouldn't hear a word about it. Man, she is stubborn. Note to self, I would rather face more of The Foot than have April angry with me.

Guess what? I learned how to make strawberry filled pancakes. When you wake up, I make you stacks of them. Trust me, you are going to love them. Granted, the first bunch wasn't that great. Boy, you should have seen their faces on the first bunch. It was so funny. Well, it was funny until they start to chase me. But hey, I was learning! But now, everyone doesn't try my first bunch anymore. That is fine by me. Just makes more for me. Pineapple Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies, anyone? Yummy.

Sigh…I wish Leo would go to sleep. He never seems to sleep or eat. He feel guilty, Ralph. He is worried about you. Doesn't he understand? It is no one's fault. No one could have predicted the attack. No, that doesn't stop Leo. He would pace or sits down in the chair and stare at you. I wish. I wish you would wake up! I hate this feeling! I hate this feeling of hopelessness. Most of the time, I could crack a joke and everything will be all right again. Everyone will laugh and the tension will be gone.

Now, we wait.

You know how much I hate waiting. So, you better wake up soon, bro.

Because I have a hot plate of strawberry filled pancakes waiting for you.

The End

All of my reviews: I am not big on the grammar. I always work to improve it. I am going to make mistakes. I don't trust beta readers because of my bad experiences with them.

Chibi-Rose: That is what causes me to write the fics in the first place. Boredom and the lack of good television cause to slip in my copy of the movie.

FF Demon-Angel: I am not a big fan of Leo either but I found Leo easier to write than Ralph.

Bubbyshell: I never seen the episode you have spoke of. I wouldn't be surprise. Ralph and Leo are very close. Of course, they would never say that to each other.

Pachycus: Thank you kindly of your comments. Leo's head is easy to get into. It getting out that is the problem.

I know I had another reviewer on my list but it seems didn't like you. So, I cannot find your comments anywhere. Blag! Anyway, until Donny!
