Starfire sat in her room alone.They had just came back form her 'marrage'. Which was thankfully over! She layed back in her soft bed, and sighed.
'Will I ever make it to a person like my sister had been? I know she is a very bad person, but she is not afraid to be bold. I am to nice maybe? To nice to ever stand up for myself?' She stood up.
"No. I am not." she said aloud to herself. "I will be bolder! And more brave! Someday I will have to rule my planet alone. I must be ready! I must be....wise, and daring perhaps?" She shook her head.
"Star?" her favorite voice to hear called. She smiled and poked her head out the door,
"Yes Robin?" She said happily and smoothly.
"Are you OK?" he paused as he made his way to her room, "I heard you yelling."
"Oh..." she blushed. She hadn't realized how loud she had been."Yes...I am." she nodded.
"Are you sure?" Robin raised an eyebrow.
"Yes." she said louder with a hint of annoyunce. He nodded and slowly walked away. She sighed. But she was keeping a secret. Not a big one..well it was to her. And it was eating her up inside. "I must tell Robin.." She sighed as she made her way down the narrow stairs. "Robin?" she yelled walking into the living room.
"Ya Star?" He looked over to the Tamaranian girl shuffling her feet nervously.
"Something is bothering me." she said solumnly, "And I think you deserve to know."
"What is it...?" he said slowly.
"You know the man that raised me? Right Robin?" she sighed heavily.
"Ya...."
Her eyes swelled up with tears, "He is dying.." she choked.
"Oh...star.." he envloped her in a hug.
"Yes..but there is one more thing..I have to go back to Tamaranian!"
