All right the first time I put this story on the net everyone was like, 'you spelled Sano's name wrong' or 'the story should be longer.' So there… I redid this story and now it will be longer. I hope you're all satisfied.
Gomen if I sound angry! I'm not!
Also this story may seem shorter. Sorry about that! Anyway…. enjoy!
Forgive Me
"Is that Kaoru?"
"Yes... she's the one that fell in love with the battosai," says one of the ladies in the restaurant.
Megumi glares at them and then turns to Kaoru.
"Kaoru... I think you should leave now," Megumi says. Kaoru nods and heads to towards the door.
Megumi walks up to the waitress and pays the bill. The waitress looks at Kaoru.
"She really can't let go can she? I lost someone loved for about four years ago...-I really hope that she cheers up Ms.Megumi," says the waitress.
"I know...even in death, she's completely loyal to him. But in time she willrealize that there's no use feeling angry about it... she'll find someone else," says Megumi.
Kaoru walks towards the dojo. She walks around the garden and enjoys the beauty.
"Kaoru?" She loses her balance as she turns around and falls to the floor. The voice from behind her sounded familiar.
"Kenshi-," she begins to say.
To her disappointment it's not Kenshin...it's Sanosuke.
Sanosuke walks closer to her. "You've been living here all alone?" He asks. She can hear the concern tremble in his deep voice.
"Yes I have. Yahiko went off to train in the mountains and the girls left to stay with Megumi for a while," Kaoru explains. They both feel a chill as the snow starts to fall.
"You should go back inside... it's getting cold," says Sanosuke. Kaoru prepares some tea.
"So... why have you come?" Kaoru asks. Sanosuke puts down his cup and looks at Kaoru.
"I heard that you were having a hard time... so I came to visit, but I didn't expect you to be alone." Sanosuke thinks himself, 'that probably makes it harder.' He makes a fist.
"Where have you been?" Kaoru asks. She felt as though she was getting involved in his business. "Sorry."
"It's ok. I was going to tell you about where I have been anyway. I've been traveling all over the world. It's amazing actually... there's so many things that we don't know here in Japan. Would you like to come with me?" Sanosuke looks at Kaoru. A couple seconds pass.
Kaoru takes another sip of her tea. "I'm sorry." She gets up and reaches over him to pick up his cup. He grabs her hand and the cup falls to the floor. He pulls her over to him so that she is on his lap.
"Sanosuke?"
"I just wanted you to be happy... that's all. I want to be with you," Sanosuke says. Kaoru looks at him not sure whether she is confused or scared. She could feel his body heat rising.
"I promised Kenshin that I would look after you... but in some ways I couldn't because I was afraid. I love you Kaoru. I thought that by staying here it'd only make my desire for you stronger. I thought that I would explode," Sanosuke says as he looks at Kaoru.
Kaoru brings her hands to his face. "I can't be… with you Sanosuke."
Sanosuke looks at Kaoru. "Oh… I understand. I figured you'd say something like that." He loosens his grip on her.
Kaoru gets off of Sanosuke and picks up his cup. "Where are you going to stay?"
"I don't know."
"You can stay here…I don't mind," Kaoru says. Kaoru tells Sanosuke where his room will be.
'For some reason I don't think that this will be a good idea,' Kaoru thinks to herself.
Okay…. I think that is good enough for now! I'll try to update this later. I need more ideas for this story!!!! My mind is kind of going blank!
Arigato for reading!
