Inuyasha was walking through his forest, thinking about Kikyo. He still loved her and knew that she loved him. Inuyasha finally thought of a song that Kagome had taught him.

As he was singing, Kikyo had come. He was to wrapped up sing and thinking to notice her. She realized right away that the song was about her so she stayed and listened.

I look in the mirror and all I see Is a young old man with only a dream Am I just fooling myself That she'll stop the pain Living without her I'd go insane

When he finished he realized that Kikyo had heard him, but he didn't care. At least she knew how he felt. He didn't care if she was upset. No, not at all.

Kikyo walked up to Inuyasha with a smile. "Inu . . . do you love me?" Kikyo asked with meaning in her voice.

"Yes, very much so. Please don't hate me when I ask you this." Then he asked, "Do you love me?"

Inuyasha pressed up against Kikyo and kissed her passionately. She was a little surprised, but that wore off in like five seconds later. "Yes Inu . . . I love you." Kikyo thought and kissed him back.

That night they fell asleep in each others' arms.
