Flare: Hey y'all! (Rolls eyes.) For all of you who don't know, the last thing I wrote was
a preview. (Sigh...) Now, this is the first chapter, so no more flames please, I don't
need them. Now, for all you lucky people, here's the first chapter.
Abbey Warrior
Sunlight streamed into the clearing in Mossflower woods. A light breeze danced among
the flowers. A small stream burbled happily as it flowed past a young traveler.
The young mousemaid walked along a well worn forest path, singing softly as she went.
"Think of me,
Think of me fondly,
When we've said goodbye...
Remember me,
Once in a while,
Please promise me you'll try..."
Her sweet soprano stopped suddenly as a rustling was heard in the bushes. She paused
and turned to see a young mouse, glowing, standing beside her.
"Please don't stop." He spoke, soft and gentle. She blushed and smiled.
"I'm sorry sir... I'm Marron, you would be?" The mouse calmly looked at her
and murmured,
"What you were,
become once more,
Abbey Warrior,
Guard our door..."
Then, he was gone. Marron sat up and shook her head.
"What a peculiar dream." She murmured softly, looking around. Little did she
know, her life had just changed forever.
