Emma Nelson's alarm clock shrilled in her ear as Spike held it over her head.
"Emma, honey, you have to wake up, it's 7:45"
"I know, I know" Emma sighed as she threw her covers off of her.
"Morning" Spike said cheerfully.
"Hi" Emma said tiredly.
"Breakfast is downstairs when you get ready…Bye I love You"
"Bye, Love You…Wait…Where are you going?"
"Don't you remember? I start my job today at the news station!"
"Mom, That's Great!"
They hugged and Spike left and Emma went downstairs.
"Emma…almost ready to go? I'm gonna drive you."
"Thanks Snake…Let me grab a piece of toast and we'll go."
Once they got in the car Snake sighed and Emma just looked at him weirdly.
"What's wrong, Snake?"
"Em…your mom didn't want me to tell you yet, but…"
"What is it?" she asked with a curious tone.
"Well Em…Let's just say home is going to get harder soon."
"Why?" She asked without any tone whatsoever.
"Well…umm…My Cancer is getting worse…and your Mom has…"
"Has what?!" Emma practically screamed.
