A Naruto Fic

Snow fell softly in sheets as Naruto sat down on a park bench. It was winter in Konoha, a solemn yet peaceful affair. Year after year, Naruto had always spent it alone. Of course, Team Seven's missions were on, but no one would actually tread into this kind of weather would they? Thus, missions were kept to a bare minimum. There was actually no need for such a step; customers were scarce. Somehow, Naruto felt better that way. He was used to spending Christmas alone. Iruka-sensei would visit Naruto occasionally, but not this year. Iruka would be spending his time with his new girlfriend Mitsuki. Naruto snickered at the last thought.
As for Sakura... it seems that she will be going to her girlfriends' house for the holidays. Naruto seriously doubted that though... she'd probably be out with Sasuke or something.
Why on earth would Sakura like Sasuke of all people anyway? He's so snobbish...
He snorted, then sighed. The worst thing was that the ramen stall had closed for winter; no ramen for two months. He could imagine the delicious taste of a piping-hot bowl of pork ramen... That'd be so good...
As if on cue Naruto's stomach rumbled.
"... kuso..."
Naruto didn't want to go back just yet... he wanted to watch the snow a while longer. After all, no one was waiting for him at home. He sighed again, his breath misting the air.
A hand extended, holding a bowl of steaming ramen. Naruto blinked, then looked at the owner of the hand. He gasped. It was Sasuke.
Shocked, Naruto gaped at him. Sasuke had another bowl of ramen in his other hand. Seconds passed, and Sasuke began to get annoyed. Sasuke said coldly,
"Are you going to take it or not?"
Naruto immediately snapped out of his daze and took the bowl. As Sasuke handed Naruto a pair of chopsticks, he sat down next to him. Naruto accepted the chopsticks and began to wolf down his noodles while Sasuke ate quietly. Soon, both finished their ramen. As Naruto gave the empty bowl back to Sasuke, he asked,
"...Doushite?"
"Well... just think of it as a Christmas present." Sasuke took the bowl.
Naruto smiled. "...thank you then..."
Maybe Sasuke wasn't so bad after all.
