My love for you burns so bright,
I hope that you're willing to stay the night.
Don't go home through that old, stinky well,
And follow that bitch Kikyo down to hell.
So many sacrifices I'm willing to make,
Love me back for both out sakes.
We've suffered through so much, you and I,
I've wanted to share with you my piece of the pie.
I get so jealous and upset when she is near,
And as soon as you leave I have everything to fear.
Wherever I'm with you my knees go weak,
For it is you and your love that I wish to seek.
I know you still love her from what happened in the past,
But she killed you, and you her, it wasn't meant to last.
Ever since I saw you that very first time, hurt,
I tried with all my strength my feelings not to blurt.
I need you, we ALL do,
The fate of the world is up to you.
Sango and Miroku make such a wonderful couple,
I wish we were like them, so obliviously sweet and supple.
Something has happened and we really need to talk,
Follow me and we'll go for a walk.
I tell you I love you, and I've wanted to tell you since I found out,
And in my lonely life its only you that stands out.
I decided to tell you before it was to late,
I now know this time that I must handle my fait.
You stand there shocked with your jaw open, stunned,
So I turn to leave, eyes downcast, shunned.
You grab my arm and we stand there for a while,
Then you turn me around and I see the most genuine smile.
Then you whispered in my ear,
The words, for you, I always wanted to hear.
You said the words "I love you,"
But you added the extra special words "always" and "too!"!
