Mei waited patiently, seated outside the closed door. "Soon, Little Mei, we can meet Mr. Edward. They say he's the youngest and best, outstanding with golden hair! Oohhh, I want to meet him!" She blushed, happily imagining their meeting.
The door opened, and Mei turned for her first look at... the shortest alchemist she had ever seen.
Ed noticed her and grunted in greeting. Mei couldn't help feeling somewhat disappointed. She turned to Little Mei. "They didn't tell us he was so small," and Little Mei nodded in agreement.
Mei quickly dodged the flailing limbs of an enraged chibi alchemist.
