As the sun sets, i watch
trying to figure out your every moves.
smiling as you score, wincing while you're hurt.
Forcing myself to watch as someone else attend to you.
Don't you know how hurt i feel within me?
'whoosh' it sounds, the match ended.
whistle blew, calling out the scores;
signalling the end of the match.
watching you as i clapped,
heart swelling with pride that you won.
My heart fluttered as you smile,
even if it's not for me.
With expression of indifference,
i headed towards you.
Joining others as we clapped
and cheered you on.
Acting as if i didn't care
as you shown your affection to him openly.
Smiling and encouraging you as always
despite that my heart is breaking within me.
Blinking back tears as i said "congratualations!"
Unable to control, i spun and ran.
Not hearing the shouts behind me,
blocking out your concern as i ran.
trying to ignore the sense of emptiness within me.
My pace quickened as tears starts to fall.
Collapsing on the ground in weariness,
trashing and hitting the ground in anger.
As memories flooded through my mind,
"how i wish you were mine..." i said.
choking back a sob as i smile a bitter smile.
As i knew within me, this can never be.
'this's a fact that can't be deny.'
If there's anyone you care about,
it would be kippei.
But i knew i would not be able to hate him,
i respected him well and i loved you too much to hurt you.
If you loved him that much, i'll let it be.
Nevertheless, I'll remain by your side.
coming to you whenever you need me.
Be it as a friend or a brother.
I'll always be by your side.
'but can you see me?' i thought.
shaking my head at my silliness, i stood and walked away.
