Introduction

AAh, I... where were we up to?
Once Yugi finished reading, he looked across to Anzu. She winked at him then turned to face the front again, causing her short, brown hair to swing. The butterflies in Yugis stomach started to throw a party, inviting all of their friends to join in the dancing. It was just a friendly wink, come on Yugi, get over it, he told himself.
The bell signalling lunch rang. Yugi picked up his books and walked out of the room, occasionally receiving a hit on the shoulder as the rest of the class rushed past him, eager for lunch.
"Yugi, wait up!" Anzu rushed up to the small boy's side. "Can I speak with you at lunch?" A stressed look spread across Anzu's sweet face.
"Sure Anzu, are you ok?" Have I done something to hurt her?
"Meet me outside the sport stadium." With that, Anzu span on her heel and headed off towards her locker. Yugi watched her hair sway livingly with each step she took. He watched her long, slender legs place their feet in front of each other perfectly, until she disappeared into the crowd of school kids. She's so beautiful, but she's not mine, she's Kaiju's.
Yugi waited outside the sport stadium. He had been waiting for ten minutes, watching all of the school's students walk past. They were laughing, flirting, joking, eating and just enjoying the warm, spring sun. It just reminded him of how sad, depressed and scared Anzu had looked. I hope she's okay. Where is she?
Yugi felt a hand gently touch his shoulder. He turned around to find Anzu looking down at the ground, tears slowly rolling down her slightly pink cheeks. She looked up at Yugi; the joyful shine in her beautiful eyes was gone. They held a gaze for a few moments, and then she fell against his body and hugged him close, her body shaking with tragic sobs. Yugi held her tight, and then lifted her chin slowly so that their eyes met each other's. "Anzu, what happened? Do you want to go some where more private and talk?"
Anzu opened her mouth as if to talk then closed it and managed a slow nod. They then walked off with Yugi's arm around Anzu's waist towards the big, oak tree across the grassed area in front of the old, sports stadium.
"Hey, Jonouchi! Hey… over here!" Kaiju (Kai for short) waved his arm frantically as he called his mate over. When Jonouchi sat himself beside Kai, Kai offered him a doughnut. Jonouchi (Jo for short) being Jonouchi didn't refuse the offer and began chomping away at the pink-iced cake. "You haven't seen Anzu around have you, Jo?" Asked Kai with concern, "We were meant to meet here, everyone was. Come to think of it, where's Yugi too?"
"Mmm...I don't know, I think Anzu was upset and couldn't find you or somethi…" Jo was too eager to eat the rest of his doughnut to finish his sentence.
"Maybe they thought we were meeting at the Oak tree?" Kai said, not necessarily talking to Jo. He then sat up off the wooden bench-seat and headed across the yard, with Jo trailing behind him glancing at every girl walking pass and occasionally winking at them too. Sheesh, he's such a lady's man… thought Kai.
