Painted Chocolate

Summary: What does Chocolate, Skinny dipping, and the Fat Lady have to do with Ron and Harry… I really don't know but some how it occurs one day in the school that is known as Hogwarts.

Disclaimer: I am in no way gaining money from this story. If I was I sure as heck would buy a new monitor…

Just to let you know… When I say iguana fiasco I'm relating to another story I've written. Thanks.

It was a warm April day at Hogwarts and Harry and Ron were having one of their typical days avoiding homework. After the iguana fiasco last September nothing had seemed quite as interesting. Harry and Ron had been talking vividly about Qudditch, when suddenly they noticed they were lost in one of the many halls of the school. Ron suggested they looked for a portrait that they might recognize, so that they could ask them to lead them back to whence they came. Harry quickly agreed and started looking for a painting on the left, while Ron looked on the right.

They had only been walking for a mere twenty feet when Harry suddenly stopped. Ron had walked another ten before he noticed that Harry was no longer beside him. Quickly turning, he soon spotted Harry, and back to him. Harry had moved so close to the painting that his nose was only an inch from the oil pastel surface. Ron only wondered what kept Harry captivated, while he stepped back and looked at the whole thing.

Ron noticed it was an abstract piece, and that it was a modern looking style. It was a landscape, but no ordinary one. The sky was a light lilac color, with puffy cotton candy, literally, clouds drifting back and forth. The ground was lime green in color with white crystal sprinkles covering it. Spread through out the painting was several white barked, pink leafed trees. Ron quickly decided that it had to be a representation of the muggle game "Candy Land" that Hermione had told him about one day, during one of their useless conversations. It was last that Ron noticed the giant chocolate lake that Harry was standing an inch away from. He noticed a small peer to the west side, and on it there appeared to be a pink dress laid neatly across the planks.

Ron then noticed what had Harry so captivated. There was a lady skinny dipping in the chocolate lake. It soon dawned on him that the lady happened to look very familiar. But he could not clearly see her face, because as soon as he had noticed Harry she had hidden behind a cluster of cat tale weeds.

Harry swallowed, turned to Ron, and said, "I… umm… think we should keep going." Ron nodded and walked down the hall silently. The whole time he was still trying to place the woman in the painting.

It wasn't until they had found their way again that they spoke. "Who do you think that woman was?" asked Ron.

"Well," responded Harry, "I think that it was the Fat Lady."

Realization dawned on Ron's face as he let out a silent 'oh.' "I… uh… hear chocolate is good for you." Ron added.

From that day on Harry and Ron never looked the portrait in the eyes again.
