It was a quiet normal night, the stars were shining bright and the moon was full while Kurama walked down the deserted streets. He was sensing a weak energy signal somewhere around the town and decided to check it out.
"So what brings you out at this time Kurama…?" a voice from the tree said calmly as two piercing ruby red eyes gleamed threw the shadows
"Hello Hiei… I was sensing an energy signal… it seems to possess a demonic aura around it…" He responded calmly his eyes deadly serious… something about the energy was unusual and in a way intrigued him. Hiei eventually jumped down from the branches and looked out into the distance his black gi making him unknown in the darkness. Kurama remained silent as Hiei's voice stopped him.
"…It's a demon that's in the human realm and from the looks of it a wolf demon" He said looking at Kurama whose back was already turned. He remained silent and slowly walked off leaving Hiei with a small smirk on his face as he disappeared once more into the night. He soon walked down the block pinpointing the energy signal to a certain apartment. That was not too far away he soon broke into a run as he felt the signal beginning to grow.
"You think you can fight me?!" a voice could be heard yelling from the building as a 17 year old girl crashed threw the door of the apartment her body battered, bloody, and bruised as she landed outside on the sidewalk. She struggled to stand up in her eyes anger can be shown building up as a man stepped out of the house in his hand a whip could be seen held. "... your as pathetic as your sister was" he growled smirking just as he held the whip over her head the young girls eyes could be seen flaring letting loose all her anger. Her hazel eyes changing a bright yellow and brown hair a vibrant silver.
"Never… ever… say that again!!" she yelled as a bright light escaladed from her body reaching the man whose eyes have suddenly widened and his body disincarnated screaming in agony and fear. Soon all of the energy escaped from her and the loss of blood becoming too much to bear as she changed back to a human form. Just as Kurama arrived speechless at the site of the girl lying on the ground blood around her he rushed to her mesmerized by her beauty. Seeing her body in such a state he bent down and lifted her upper body.
"What happened??" he asked as her eyes began to close halfway her eyes were cold and endless filled with pain and sorrow just as gentle tear ran down her cheek.
"…pain…" she whispered as she passed out in his arms only remembering flaming red hair and the concern in his eyes.
