Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, but I own Shino's eyes! MWUAHAHAHAHA!
Shino's Eyes
My eyes, Hinata, they are glued to you. Your body, and the way it sways from side to side. Your hair, swishing back and forth as you swiftly hit the wooden dummy. Your smile, as you stare at a certain blonde-haired blue-eyed boy. My eyes are always hidden.
He. The one you admire and love, he can make you smile. He can make the bell-sounding giggle slip from your lucious lips. A true laugh, in which true happiness is spilt. I know I am not capable of doing that, for I am not he.
I watch you glow, in an angelic way. You glow whenever he is around. Your pale eyes are so pure, even I get lost in them.
The large, white coat I wear hides me. It conceals all of my introverted and forlorn feelings, making me look dull and strong. Like how your eyes hide your loneliness, only they will never be dull. They are beautiful, like you.
I know you are hurting inside, whenever you see him with a pink-haired girl. I know it hurts when you see him respond to her, and I know that you dream about him someday responding you.
I know how you feel, Hinata, because I always wish that you will someday look my way. God, how I want you to look my way.
I am lonely.
Life would be a lot simpler if such a thing as loneliness did not exist. It would be much easier if desire did not either.
Perhaps even love.
No, wait. Love has to exist or you would never look at me with the affection you look at him with.
But remember, I am always there.
I am always there, Hinata. I am a wall that you can lean on, for I will never speak back my true feelings. I will soak up your tears, and dry your wet face. I will be the darkness that envelopes you from the real world. The dream that you can escape from the horrid life you lead. Away. Away from all of your sorrows and worries...and shames. That will be me. The stillness of the night, the peace that settles you into a tranquil state, calming you from all of your fears. I will be the tiny tear dancing upon your moonlit eye, telling you that everything will be okay. And I promise, Hinata, that it will.
No matter what, we shall see a better day.
