2. Strong Bad is Captured

Chapter 2

At the stick, Homestar at the gang anxiously await the arrival of Strong Bad, who had called them all there. We overhear some of the chatter between characters.

"So I said to Bubs, 'Listen, Bubsy. You better get me your manager wight now!'" says Homestar to Pom Pom.

Pom Pom responds, "bubble bubble bubble."

"Yeah I know," responds Homestar, slightly laughing, "and then get this: he tell's me that he's the manager." They laugh.

We cut to another conversation. "And then he asks for the manager!" says Bubs to Coach Z. "And I'm like… I am the manager!" They both laugh.

Strong Bad walks on in front of the talking crowd of future cohorts. He clears his throat and begins to speak. "Eh hem. Alright.. all… alright everyone," He pauses. You hear a sudden stopping sound of a record on a turntable. Strong Bad yells, "all right everyone!" The roar turns to a whisper and the peoples' attention is on Strong Bad. "Jeez. You guys are worse than Bubs," Strong Bad pauses, realizing that Bubs is right in front of him, "um… I mean… uh… Marzipan. Okay, anyway… here's the deal. The Cheat has been captured… so… go find him."

Strong Sad speaks out, "Where is he?"

Strong Bad replies, "Shut up, Whinyface. Now… if anything happens to one of you… well… I don't really care… cause I hate you all. So… go find The Cheat…"

"The Chort is missing!" yells Coach Z as he runs away with his hands at his head.

"Yeah…" says a confused Strong Bad.

The scene cuts to Strong Bad's house where he is sleeping on the couch in his basement. The Poopsmith enters from the right and takes the sleeping Strong Bad over his shoulder, Strong Bad's head to the ground. He walks off to the right. Homestar then enters from the left.

"Where the heck did Stwong Bad go? Oh well…" Homestar walks off to the left. He then enters seconds later, "duh duh duhn…"

The scene cuts to Marzipan's house where she is talking to Strong Sad.

"Strong Sad, The Cheat has gone missing. It's up to us to find him."

"Wha… why do we have to find him?"

"Because he is a very nice young man."

"I thought he was more of like… a dog-type-thing."

"Well… he's still The Cheat, so he have to find him."

"What… what if we just let Homestar find him? He's assembled a crack-team that is on the case right now." Strong Sad finishes and Marzipan looks at him with a scornful face. "Jeez… I just thought maybe, you know."

"That isn't even funny, Strong Sad," Marzipan scolds him, "leaving The Cheat's life in the hands of an idiot."

The scene once again cuts; this time to Bubs's concession stand. Homestar is seen walking up to Bubs.

"What can I getcha, Homestar?" asks Bubs.

"Bubs… I need… some awtillewy…"
