this emotion, twisting, turning, pulling you from inside

waiting, watching, taunting you to pass the hours

it's turned, been tainted, but oh so bold

but still you try, with visions of her as wife

he comes then shining, sparkling, brilliant gold

corners, captures, captivates her with ease

hence has died the love of old

treachery, betrayal, you corner her and she shouts 'please'

but it's blackened, twisted, confused and wrong

then comes he again, shining and bright, like her, he'll seize

and then you fall to the call of Mandos's song

--Though the characters are not stated, they are intended to be Maeglin and Idril Celebrindal with a brief reference to Tuor. I do not own these characters, only the formation of words you have just read that describe them.--

For some reason this came to me while I was in the shower, so I sat down and wrote and this is what came out. I won't pretend to be really proud of it, lol, cuz I'm not, just a little weirded out by it. And yes, the 'from beneath you it devours' is from Buffy.
