"Sora, wake up! It's time to leave!" said Kairi, her excitement, clearly visible in her voice. Sora jumped up quickly and rubbed his eyes. "Huh?" He said sleepily. Riku and Kairi already had their things bundled in their burlap bags they had made yesterday for their journey. "Boy, I never thought you could sleep THIS late. We've been up for at least five more hours than you have!" said Riku, laughing. "Very funny. I'll go pack my things." He ran, his shoes filling up with sand. He opened the door to his house. His small, but strong bag was still lying on the couch where he left it. Sora picked it up, and carried it upstairs. "Lets see," He started to talk to himself, "Food, blanket, pillow, okay, that's basically what I need." He ran downstairs, and out the door. "I'm here!" Sora yelled, holding his bag over his head. "Took you long enough." said Riku tiredly. Everyone put their bags onto the small boat, and Kairi climbed in. "Let's go!" said Kairi, that excitement visible again. Riku and Sora pushed off. The waves were calm, and the temperature was quite warm. They had all forgotten, or at least Sora supposed, to bring something to do. A few hours had passed and Riku was asleep, Kairi looking over the horizon, and Sora attempting to paddle by himself. The silence was broken by Kairi when she said "Sora, what do you think it will be like? I mean, in another world?" "I have no clue. Let's just hope it's friendly." Kairi laughed. "Look!" she said suddenly. "Huh?" Riku sat up. "It's the border of our world! We've almost made it!" They all stood up to look. "Wow! It's so...pretty!" she said. Something bumped the boat and made it rock back and forth. Then a fiercer hit that made them all fall down. "What was that?" said Riku nervously. It was the first time Sora had ever heard him like that. A large heartless, an aquatank, flew out of the water and over the raft, flipping it over with the large waves it made. "Kairi!" Sora yelled, wadding just above the water. Kairi replied, "Where's Riku?" She swam over to him. "I don't know. Are you okay?" "Yeah, but a little shook up." The aquatank rose above the water, with Riku's gloves dangling from one of its teeth. "Riku!" Kairi screamed. "Sora," she talked calmly and hugged him, "I love you...and I always have." The aquatank swam closer until....Sora and Kairi were gone, like Riku. Sora died blushing like a fool and Kairi, content about her admitting her secret that she had kept so long.
