I was inspired to write some emotional poem like this after the first snow came.

It came like hell of it! From late, calm autumn to arctic chaos over a night!

Anyway, this is an extremely odd snippet about Rei, seen from a rather unexpected character's point of view.

Crimson Eyes

-Aye of the worlds I've seen

The people I've met

The places I've been

-Aye of the blood I've spilt

The chaos I've brought

The throats I've slit

-Aye the women I've raped

The children I've slain

The humans I've hated

-Aye the graves I've dug

The comrades I've cut

The corpses I've given the slugs

-Now I hold your hair in my grip

Hesitating as I'm unable to your throat rip

-I gaze upon your pallid flesh

Unable to cut up this white mesh

-Your hair clear blue shatters my duty

I cannot kill you without feeling guilty

-Impossible to look at your crimson eyes

Without lowering my blade from the skies

-Aye the pain they brought

These crimson eyes

Burns my soul in distraught

-My lord the Prophet warned me this

To stumble in my holy do

I pray my duty saved life his

From the darkness and the doom

-My past old life is now long gone

Shattered in the dust of man

Now all that remains is my rifle's song

To sing of the ones shot as they ran

-I look upon your crimson eye

It looks sad but warm

-Fear nought, pale faced one

Safe you are from harm

-My sword of light nowvaporize

As I slowly lower my hand

-Looking at your crimson eyes

I can't send you to the Promised Land
