Title: Pride and Prejudice in Riverdale
Rating: PG-13 for light swearing and a little- just a little, mind you- slash.
Disclaimer: I own none of the characters or settings, and make no money off my work. I'm not affiliated with any big scary corporations that could sue my pants off.
A note: Hello, MoonTree here. Just a real short, light story I came up a few days ago. I'm not sure why it's set in the Archie-verse, it just seemed to fit there best. I hope you enjoy it! As always, concrit is welcomed.
(Here there was supposed to be a line, but Quickedit is acting all STUPID.)
"Hey Archie, give me a kiss."
Betty froze, her hand raised and about to knock. For a moment, an image of Veronica flashed across her mind, but no- that wasn't her voice. In fact, it sounded almost like... Jughead?!
"Why don't you make me, Juggie?"
Holy...
"Maybe I will!"
There came much scuffling from inside Archie's room. Betty could only back away from the door, trying not to cry or laugh or both. They couldn't... they weren't really banging in there, were they? No, surely not... there had to be a logical explanation for this! There had to be! But why... what... This was so wrong. He was always flirting with her and Veronica, right? But Jughead was in his room, asking for a kiss right now! This was impossible!
Holy shit!
Betty ran screaming down the frosty road, kicking over sacks of leaves and pumpkins as she went.
Meanwhile, inside Archie's room, Jughead had finally wrestled a few Hershey's Kisses (TM) away from his friend. Unwrapping one, he grinned.
"I love Halloween!"
