I've decided to write a Christmas Story

YAY! My goal is to get it finished by Christmas.

Christmas Time

Proposition

Kagome crawled out of the well, which was not easy as she had layer upon layer attached to her still cold skin. She pulled out her bag and began to trudge through the snow. Out of nowhere snow started coming down upon her in a spray.

"Hey Kagome" A familiar voice said.

"Hi Koga" the wolf prince stood in front of her dressed in what he always wore.

"Aren't you cold? It's freezing!"

"You're cold? Ya know," HE said taking a step closer towards her. "I could keep you warm."

"You know," She whispered seductively, "You could help me." She took a step even closer.

"Yes?"

"By carrying my bag" She thrust her bag into his arms. "Why thank you Koga"

She trudged through the snow with Koga following her. When she reached Kaede's hut she opened the flap and smiled.

"Hi everyone, I'm back." Koga came in after her and set her pack down. Kagome turned to Koga.

"Listen, Kagome I got to run, I'll come and visit you again."

"Thanks Koga" He smiled and left.

"Listen I need to tell you guys something. Uh, where's Inuyasha?"

"Inuyasha went outside." Miroku pointed out the door.

Kagome pulled off her giant overcoat. And set it by her pack. She ran out the door in two sweaters, jeans, and mittens.

"Inuyasha, Inuyasha" She called his name over and over again until she found him sitting in a tree.

"There you are. Listen- come down here" He jumped down in a pile of snow sending snow everywhere. Kagome rubbed the snow off her face leaving her cheeks red. 'She looks kinda cute with her cheeks all red like that' Inuyasha blushed at the thought.

"Anyway," Kagome continued, oblivious to his perverse thought, "I came to tell you that I'm going away for the next couple of weeks on a sort of holiday; I'll tell you about that later. Me and my family are going up to the mountains until New Year. I want to know if you wanted to come."

"I'll think about it."

"Well think hard, if you are going we need to get you clothes."

"What's wrong with the clothes I got?"

"Nothing" 'Actually it makes you look kinda sexy.' Kagome blushed at her thought.

"I'll think about it."

"Ok, fine whatever." She led the way back to Kaede's hut.

"Okay you guys, I won't be here for a couple of weeks. There is a holiday coming up called Christmas. It is celebrating the birth of the Christian lord's birth. It's come along way after being in western society for so long. It's a gift giving holiday and people usually have decorations, ooh and mistletoe, and Santa."

"Santa?" Shippo asked curiously.

"Santa is a guy in a big red suit and delivers toys to good little boys and girls."

"Gifts, presents?" He imagined a man in a red kimono handing out toys to village children.

"Santa doesn't really have an origin he is just something adults tell younger children so that they be good."

"Ooh"

"What is Mistletoe?" Miroku asked her, interested.

"Mistletoe is a sort of plant that people hang on ceilings, when two people walk under them they have to kiss."

"Ooh?" Sango looked at her slightly wide eyed.

"Anyway, I'm going up to the mountains with my family and I won't be back for a while." Shippo jumped into Kagome's arms.
"I'll miss you"

"I'm sorry you can't come. I'll bring you a present I promise."

Kagome and the others fell asleep around the fire in the hut.

Inuyasha stayed awake and looked at the sleeping Kagome. 'If I go…I'll have to tell you what I feel, there'll be nowhere to go, I- I don't know what to do.'

Will Inuyasha go? Of course he will. It's in the cards. Does he want to? Ummmm Yes and no. Find out or don't, I don't care.

It's Christmas

So don't stop spending

I want everything
