Night Breeze
He could hear the night wind sliding across the deck. Sanji walked out of the room, one hand in his pocket and the other lighting a cigarette. The dim light gave him a calm feeling. He slid it through his lips, and blew a smoke ring. The white ring was blown away as soon as it appeared, making the smell spread. He put the cigarette back inside his mouth.
The wind was slightly cold. He looked across the deck, and saw a figure he didn't quite expect. Luffy was sitting alone near the railing, his eyes looking far away. Surprisingly, his straw hat is nowhere to be seen. His black hair has become untidy because of the wind, blowing it continuously. Sanji started going closer, hoping the other won't find out before he got there. Perhaps he wanted it to be a surprise?
It was the first time Sanji has seen Luffy alone. Either he was in a fight, or there are always others around him, surrounding him, laughing with him. Sanji was only a step away, but he didn't want to disturb the person in front of him. He looked so peaceful, so quiet, so unlike the Luffy he usually sees...
"Hey."
After long thoughts, it seems like the most reasonable thing to say. Luffy paused a few short seconds before asking softly, "Sanji? Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"
Sanji looked into his eyes, "I could say the same thing."
Luffy turned back toward the sea, "I wanted to look at the sea. It's so quiet at night..." Sanji glanced toward the same direction. He wanted to scowl the other, but found that he couldn't. It was hard to stay mad with his naïve captain. Luffy patted the wooden area on his side, "Sit down."
Sanji thought about it for a while, but sat down anyway. Thinking too much can cause problems. He could feel Luffy's legs right next to his own...He fixed his gaze onto the sea to avoid the awkwardness of the situation. He could smell the sea wind, as well as Luffy's hair and his own special beef sauce. Sanji smiled, "You like my beef sauce?"
Luffy gave out one of his hundred bolt smile, "Yeah! It tasted great! That was one of the best...um...Sorry?" He saw Sanji's cold smile, and started nervously babbling, "But I was so hungry, and you were asleep! And it smelled so nice, so nice, and I just..."
Sanji heaved out a deep sigh. Raising his hand, he clasped it over Luffy's mouth, "Enough."
Luffy turned his eyes away from Sanji. Getting free of Sanji's hand, he whispered, "That was for Nami, wasn't it?"
Sanji suddenly felt a chill. He did make it for Nami, but...it doesn't matter, right? "Yeah." Wrong thing to say-he almost felt Luffy's head droop down. "It's alright, Luffy...You liked it right?" A huge nod. "Then that's enough." A final statement. Maybe, next time, he should cook something for Luffy...
A pair of hands wrapped around his waist. "Lu-Luffy!" he stammered, feeling the warmth coming from the other's body.
"You look cold..." said Luffy, not thoroughly thinking.
Why does the other always put things so easily? His own life, his dreams, his body, his friends...He broke the silence, "You know a story I once heard about All Blue? It was about..." Once he started, he couldn't stop. He continued on telling the other everything he's heard about All Blue, as the other gladly listens. Finally, he stopped to make sure the other is still awake. "Hey, Luffy?"
"Look," he pointed at the west direction. Sanji saw a silvery fish, dancing through the waters.
"Amazing..."
The hands wrapped around him again. "It is, isn't it?"

Yeah, that's it. Not much, I know, and quite boring, but hey - I was bored when I wrote this. And please spare my English, I don't speak it very well. My native language is Chinese...But it doesn't matter. Oh, and please, review!! (And ignore OOCness.)
