Summary: Ginny is at an American Movie Theater, and is torn apart by seeing all the couples, but somewhere in the back of her mind, she knows that her somebody is waiting for her outside…
I
sit alone, a dark theater,
Watching the people arrive hand in
hand, everybody but me.
Oh...
I stay behind, watching the
credits roll by.
Roll, roll, roll right by me.
Ginny goes out to see a movie for her first time when staying in America after she finished her seventh year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She sits in the very back, in the darkest spot, watching couples walk in, holding hands and whispering silently, and as the movie's credits roll by at the end….she just sits there…waiting
Well
I know, I won't cry cause there is somebody, somebody,
Somebody
waiting for me out in the rain.
I won't cry, not tonight,
Cause
there is somebody waiting for me.
Ohhhhh yeahhh.
And as much as Ginny is sad, she isn't crying, she isn't really hurt, because she has a message scrolling inside her mind, telling her to go outside, that's she has got someone out there, standing in the rain, but they are there, waiting for her…
I
take a walk,
The streets are busy tonight,
And I'm searching
for you,
Waiting to brush your shoulder.
When I'm alone,
I
watch the faces roll by. Roll, roll, roll right by me.
As the rain stops, and the movie ends, Ginny leaves, walking the streets, bustling with people, but Ginny doesn't see them, she only is searching for one person, waiting for there touch to send sparks down her arm…throughout her body…she just walks and waits…
Well
I know, I won't cry cause there is somebody, somebody,
Somebody
waiting for me, out in the rain.
I won't cry, not tonight,
Cause
there is somebody waiting for me.
But Ginny isn't upset when she never finds him that night, she just goes back to her apartment, and as it rains, she gets that feeling again, that someone is out there, just for her, and she wont cry about being alone, not tonight at least, because someone is there for her….
How
many words will go unspoken?
Ohh.
'Til I hear knocking on my
door?
I need some talking the nights I spent heartbroken.
But
tonight I know,
I won't cry no more.
Ohhhh.
And
the nights just roll by, and they never speak, they never meet, but
Ginny waits, and never cries, hoping for that knock upon her door,
and she needs to talk, but she cant, she must wait, and let her heart
stay broken, but she just wont cry…
I lie awake.
I left the
porch light on.
I hope it helps you to find your way.
And each night, Ginny lays in her bed, shivering, wanting to be held, and the light on her doorstep, of her apartment, she leaves it on, and maybe he'll walk up, and find his way to her…
Outside
I
hear the thunder roll by.
Roll, roll, roll right by me.
And the rain starts up again, drumming on the roof, but Ginny doesn't hear, she just waits for that one distinct knock…waiting…not crying…not hurting…just waiting…for him to come out of the rain…to stop the loneliness…to stop the broken feelings inside her…
I
know, I won't cry cause there is somebody, somebody,
Somebody
waiting for me, out in the rain.
Not gonna cry tonight
No
Cause
there is somebody waiting for me.
Not gonna cry tonight
No no
no no no no no
Oh yeah
Oh ohhhh, not gonna cry,
Not
tonight
Cause there is somebody waiting for me.
I stay behind
watching the credits roll by.
Roll, roll, roll right by me.
