Note: For some reason I just starting singing 'Full of Grace' then all of a sudden I had an idea for a story. Wired.
Liz stood at the balcony. John was gone. She closed her eyes silently praying he wasn't hurting anymore. Tears flowed down her eyes though she did her best to fight them back. When Ford had come back with the news her world had fallen apart. She collapsed. Thankfully Ford had been there to catch her, though she wished he wasn't. She wished he'd let her fall into the closing Stargate. Least it wouldn't hurt anymore.
They hadn't gone straight out and announce their relationship though most people did know. They see small things that would put them in the picture about what was going on. Nobody said anything. They all knew it was difficult on Atlantis. Any bit of happiness was cherished, and John and Liz together. That was true happiness.
Ford came onto the balcony. He knew that was where Liz would be. Ford was aware that Liz had not noticed his presence. She shivered in the cold. Ford took of his jacket and put his around her shoulders.
"You're cold."
Liz turned to him. Tears flowing from her eyes. She turned back to the water.
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why didn't you let me fall into the Stargate?"
"Because we need you."
Liz shook her head.
"I can't do this, not without John."
Ford fought hard to keep back his tears.
"You think John wants you to die? It's the last thing he wanted. He loved you so much. Don't let his death be in vain. He died protecting Atlantis. Protecting you. Don't let the Wraith win."
Ford grabbed her hand.
"Just come back over the balcony, John wouldn't want you to do this."
Liz turned her head to face Ford.
She knew he was right. Dying now would not be what John would want. She began to climb back over the balcony with Ford's help. Ford gave her a smile and she returned it. She looked back over the ocean. She had to live to fight again. To complete John's mission, and she knew she'd have help.

Ford doesn't get a lot wrote about him. Even in episodes, he doesn't get a lot of show time. Please review.
