Roxane is jealous, she knows of our love. She wanted me to give you up for her. Why should I? I only wed her to produce an heir, not for love. For I never will love anyone else, Hephaistion.
I will be honest, I hope you never die. We shall be together always, until we are as old as the Earth itself and our souls shall reunite in death. Only you – mind, body, soul, heart. Do not leave me, never. I may be brave in battle, but I would crumble without you, my anchor to humanity, to reality.
