Ok, I wrote this ages ago when I when and read the whole Daughters of the Moon series, and I remember that Stanton's character really stood out to me, maybe because it seemed that he felt the same emptiness that I always felt. I found this poem the other day when I was flipping through my old school work, I scribbled this in class when I was really having a bad day. I don't own Stanton, his character belongs to someone really rich!
I feel the darkness,
Surrounding me,
Ensnaring me,
If took my hope,
But spared my life.
Emptiness,
All I'm left with is loneliness,
Sometimes I think it spared me,
Forgot me,
So I smile,
Laugh,
Then it comes back,
Takes me,
Turns me into a prisoner,
So I'm lost again,
In my own emptiness,
My own darkness,
Forever.
Alone.
