I Felt the Gravity of it All
I am GreyFae. I want you to know that because you probably won't hear my name this entire story.
I was running home from my babysitter's house that one day. I walked in and I heard someone sobbing. Was it Sky? Did I do something wrong, like brake something her grandma gave her? I hope not. I walked over to Sky and nuzzled her.
"What's wrong Sky? Did I do something wrong?"
Sky just suddenly ran off. I know I did something wrong, something horrible since Eyes wasn't around. Maybe Sky will tell me what's wrong tomorrow.
But tomorrow all there was was a note. It said this:
I am sorry to be leaving you, Fae and Eyes, but I just don't have the will to try anymore. Go to the shelter so you won't be alone because I doubt if I'll ever come back after what happened
What happened?! What could be that bad?! I decided to talk to Eyes. She suggested we find a sorceress named Tenka. She was a thing of legend, but maybe she is real!
We started looking for her. For some suspicious reason, we found her rather quickly, quite unlike how they found her in the books.
"Buenos Dias, CeilosOjos2 y GreyFae. What have you come for?"
"You knew we were coming?!"
"Of course I did! How do you think you got here so quickly?"
We just looked at each other and grinned sheepishly.
"We came to see if you could help us with our owner," Eyes said.
"What has she done? She has already failed once. She could not have failed again could she?" Tenka said.
"Failed again?" I interrupted
"Just tell me what she has done and what you would like me to do about it. If I can do it I will."
We told her that our owner just left. We showed her the note.
"She hasn't failed again then." She muttered, but we heard it anyway.
We also told her we wanted, nay needed, to be teleported to the time our owner came from, so we could save her from whatever was wrong. Tenka agreed to it for a price. Once we drag our owner back, she gets to keep our owner at her, Tenka's, house until she is better. We, of course, agreed to it since our owner was in danger and we knew it. We had to save her.
Tenka left.
A couple of years went by, but she never returned.
One day we got a letter for someone named Diane Peoples.
I guess I have to tell you. Robbie, Sky, died in a war. The war is now over because of her death. She will never be forgotten no matter what. She was my cousin, I feel the loss too. I know I can't relate to your loss, but I wanted you to know all this.
We both started to cry. Our tears fell to the ground; both the tears and we began to glow. Suddenly there was a body that fell to the ground. It was breathing! How could that be? It looked like our owner, but older!
Suddenly a voice behind us said, "Only you could save your owner. Fate decreed it. Now you have your owner back."
We turned to look but whoever it was had already disappeared.
Sky slowly got up. "I'm definitely going to feel this in the mornin--OOOOOOOOOOOOOO pretty wings!"
We looked at ourselves. Eyes had pearly angel wings and I had beautiful dream faerie wings. Then we suddenly notice wings on our owner, dream angel wings.
"You have wings too?!" We both said in unison.
"Of course, I just hide them since I don't always need them!"
"Um, well, since we are on the subject of you, why did you leave us?" I said.
"I felt the gravity of it all."
