Buffy's life isn't great. Infact it's the opposite. When she was a child her parents got divorced. Buffy and her sister Faith moved to sunnydale with there mum Joyce. In sunnydale their lives became happy. They were loved.
Faiths ex boyfriend Angel had broken her heart. Faith hardened up and became bad. She went badly in school, Joyce was always yelling at her and she couldn't take it. Faith ran. She and Buffy had a really close bond but Faith had to leave. Buffy understood and let the girl leave.
2 years later since Faith left Buffy received weekly letters from her getting and update. Faith was in LA and was well. She had a great job and really liked her boss.
Buffy was happy that Faith was happy. But in sunnydale things changed.
Joyce had died earlier that year. Buffy was grieving but thing have been looking up for her. Buffy lives with her legal guardian Mr Giles. On Buffy's 18th birthday she decided she wanted to go find her sister.
After a long trip to LA Buffy made it and found faith. She lives in a large apartment. Money is a little tight for her but she manages. Over the next two weeks Buffy and Faiths bond strengthens.
One day while faith was at work and buffy was cleaning the house faith barged in crying.
"Faith are you alright."
"Last night at the party we.. we.. slept together" Faith said between sobs
"Who Faith"
"Riley my boss. Or ex boss should I say. He said I was nothing and... And … he …. He.. Fired me." Faith broke down crying
Buffy put a comforting arm over her shoulder
Week later money was running low. Faith suggested they get a job together. Buffy agreed and went through the paper. The next day buffy had found two jobs. 1 was a waitress and one as a bartender at a club called the bronze (not the same as in sunnyD).
Faith and buffy were going for an interview. In the car Faith said " Buffy listen to me. I have 1 rule. Do NOT FALL FOR THE BOSS."
Buffy agreed.
They got out of the car and headed into the club. A man with bleached hair was there.
"Ah Buffy and Faith you here for the interview. I'm the boss Spike."
Buffy and faith finished talking to the boss/1 of the bartenders. Faith got the job as waitress and buffy as bartender.
They were to begin tomorrow.
As they were leaving Buffy wasn't able to stop staring at Spike
"UH OH" Buffy thought "NO I CAN NOT have the HOTS FOR SPIKE. I CAN'T, I CAN'T BREAK FAITH'S RULE. WHAT WILL I DO TOMORROW??!!"
