"Follow the Mother Moon."
By Jessica McCoy
I lay in the shadow asleep,
Dreams of yonder wood and
Silver-eyed children beckon me to
The Mother Moon.
But when I rise,
The dream is no longer,
But has become
A reality.
Wolf-blooded idols,
Soul-mates and brothers,
All kin of the Mother
And their song is sweet.
A Starry-eyed Dreamer
And a Warrior Kin-Seeker
Show me to sing
And rise above.
My voice calls to Her,
She that has given us this gift.
And she leads me to the heavens
To seek my own.
But I return to the Children,
Earth bound and true.
I want to run with them.
In the Path of the Mother Moon.
