[Discontinued] Going to "The Conclave" was a bad idea from the start but Cadash has done far more dangerous jobs than spying on a bunch of chatty robes. Becoming "The Herald Of Andraste" wasn't something he was sold on from the get-go and it had nothing to do with being a dwarf. He was even less interested in being named "Inquisitor" in Skyhold.

When the Trevelyans are summoned to the Conclave, they send their heir and his new wife to represent their interests. But after the explosion, only Anne and her unborn baby walk away. Now Anne has to learn how to fight, lead, and be a mother in the Inquisition.

A young Varric has to act as a substitute for his brother Bartrand during an important Merchant Guild meeting in Kirkwall, and everything changes for him. Edwina (the Hanged Man waitress) is also part of the story, in a surprising capacity. The tale is published much later by Hawke, after Varric has became Viscount.
